2/10Negative:1. It's a pity that play and First didn't undress where they kissed. 2. Penelope3. I wish they had…
if you want to see two gay men kiss, go watch p*rn or something. It's stupid to rate a show low just because the two main character didn't kiss "passionately" enough, it's also making you seem like a feteshizer.
People shouldn't romanticize rape. If it was a drama between a female and her male rapist turned into a love story,…
No, i never said that. Abusive and toxic relationships should be portrayed in the media, but they shouldn't be romanticized. They are romanticizing rape, do you not understand that? They are explicitly downplaying how traumatizing rape is and turning it into a love story. Rape cannot turn into love. Rape is traumatizing and it lingers in the back of your mind for the rest of your life, it haunts you until the day you die, it can make you depressed and push you to suicide. I would know, i have been raped. Fiction shouldn't be only beautiful, but it shouldn't romanticize traumatizing and horrific topics such as rape and domestic abuse. If you think romanticizing those things are okay, you need to get help because you are seriously f*cked in the head.
I feel people are so quick to judge. People are complaining that a trauma victim isn't smiling enough? Uea has so many issues to deal with, obviously he isn't going to constantly be smiling and being the cute, little "uwu" boy you all want.
It's honestly gross how many comments and posts I've seen complaining about how Uea acts, he clearly stated he wanted a strictly no-strings attached relationship and people are mad at him because he doesn't completely open up to King about his trauma? They're fuck buddies, barely even friends, and you expect him to tell King all his deepest, darkest secrets and talk about all his trauma. Most people don't even trust their therapist with that information, let alone a guy you sleep with occasionally.
Also, people saying that they can't understand why King likes Uea, Love doesn't have to have a reason. You can fall for anyone at any time without a second thought and we have barely seen much of Uea's character yet and some people are so quick to judge him and say he's boring.
People shouldn't romanticize rape. If it was a drama between a female and her male rapist turned into a love story, it would revive so much backlash. Stories like this where they romanticize and downplay abusive and toxic relationships are the reason why so many people ignore problems like domestic abuse and rape in the LGBTQIA+ community. It may be fiction, but fiction affects reality and people can believe that things like that are okay because they see it one tv and see so many people excusing their actions.
i haven't watched much yet, but there are strange cuts in the editing of the episodes and it seems to jump from scene to scene with little to no transition or explaination.
this season was a beautiful mess in the best way possible. MaxTul's chemistry was amazing as ever, the acting was beautiful and the plot was simple to understand.
