It is like they are hell bent on nitpicking his actions...come on he is a human. I think people calling him creepy…
They are literally bullying HyunSeung. People, if you want someone to hate, the abusive manipulative greedy 2ML is there for you to bully all you want but yall are coming for the sweetheart that is the Male Lead. What? Is it a trend now to hate the male lead for no reason at all?

So now that HyunSeung is no longer pushy and learnt to respect her decisions & space, there's a new reason for people to call him creepy: He acted cute when he was drunk. Really guys? Really? What is this? Why are you so determined to hate him? I truly don't understand where you come from.

Title She Would Never Know Spoiler
Episode 6 was good, we know a little more about SongAh and it's nice to see her soften a little by little for HyunSeung, he is truly adorable & admirable in this week's episodes.
Ok now, can drama stop creating excuses for JaeShin. I'm not gonna sympathize with him no matter how painful his life is. He cheated on her and still don't want to let her go. Enough now. The world doesn't revolve around you, just because your life is messed up doesn't mean you have to drag SongAh with you.
Moreover, why he has more backstory and past than HyunSeung the ML. I mean what do we know about HyunSeung other than coming from a wealthy family and being cheated on and dumped by his ex? Literally nothing. He's the male lead, we should be getting a glimpse of his past struggles by now.
Plus, I'm curious about the pub(?) owner who's close to HyjnSeung and his friends. What is his contribution to the story and why he's so fond of HyunSeung & gives him special treatment. The angst fan that I am has crazy thoughts but I will keep them for myself for the time being.
Now HyoJoo is really creepy but I hope she doesn't target SongAh. Honestly, I want her to ruin her own wedding day and humiliate Jaeshin instead. That would be so cool of her.
Finally, as someone mentionned before, the plot is average but I really like the characters and I'm looking forward to the day SongAh says I love you to HyunSeung. There's something about them that makes my heart flutter. I am also anticipating the day SongAh is the one who comforts HyunSeung.

Just like you, I discovered him in Extraordinary You and I thought he was a decent actor. However, unlike you,…
No. It's ok. Haha

I loved rowon on extraordinary you, but here I can't stand. I don't know how to describe it too but he seems so…
Just like you, I discovered him in Extraordinary You and I thought he was a decent actor. However, unlike you, I'm liking his acting in She Would Never Know much more than EoY. He is showing all kinds of expressions and no they aren't forced at all, they are so natural that I am really amazed how he can do them with such ease. I don't know how many episodes you watched to come up with this conclusion but I would understand if you said HyunSeung was unstannable after watching the pilots only because his behavior was kinda messed up and made most of us uncomfortable. Now, he's completely different. He's actually very loveable, professional and reapectful and there's no way you won't stan him. As for the "cringey" part, well his character (in the drama & the webnovel) is supposed to make you cringe and facepalm with his cheesy lines and bold attitude, even Rowoon cringes behind the scenes. The character HyunSeung is cringeworthy but definitely not the acting of Rowoon. There's difference.

I have always mistaken Won Jin Ah for Kim Ji Won, they have somewhat uncanny resemblance. WJH has played leading…
I actually like Won JinAh since Just Between Lovers, the drama itself was pretty slow but the couple was very warm and healing. She was very lovely there and her acting in emotional scenes in admirable. Her charactet in She Would Never Know kind of remind me of her character in Just Between Lovers, they are pretty similar but SongAh's personality is a bit more hard-to-get.
Idol-actors' skills are usually pretty average and they are mostly overrated. However Rowoon is different, he is really different. He can really act. I met him for the first time in Extraordinaty You and I expected nothing from him. His chatacter there was calm and barely talked but his eyes were conveying great emotions. I thought he had the potential. Now in She Would Never Know, his talent is really showing. This idol can definitely act. I'm exceptionally amazed by his eyes, he can really express all kinds of emotions through them. His acting isn't awkward at all despite of all the cringy lines of HyunSeung. His facial expressions & body language are nowhere near forced as well. He is doing great in my opinion and I'm looking forward to his future projects.
As for the story, yes it does seem like the 2FL & 2ML have more depth than the 1 FL & 1ML. If it's not the case, I think the writers have to start revealing their backstories & struggles so we can understand them better. However, I do like the mood of the drama, it's warm & classy. The love story is starting to unfold too and the chemistry of SongAh & HyunSeung is really beautiful.

I don't get why this drama is being unfairly rated. You can't compare it to almost completed on-air dramas like Run On & True Beauty, c'mon, it's still in the beginning. So far, the drama is doing well. I also don't get why you keep calling out the ML even though he is obviously a nice guy, he's got flaws but he's still nice. Seriously, what's the point of hating a drama & character that haven't actually unfolded yet. The drama deserves 8.5 at least for the aired episodes. What's your problem? It's like you want it to fail so bad for no reason at all. I've seen much worse, plot & acting-wise, dramas here that got much higher ratings. You guys need to wait until this drama ends or at least until 10 eps to air to rate it.

She would never know her boyfriend was getting married to someone else if she wasn't told by the ML. I doubt there…
Ah I see but I wish they chose a better and shorter title. Lipstick could've been great and easier to remember.

Can someone explain the title to me? What does she not know? Is there going to be a big reveal in the next few…
I'm still a curious about the English title. Maybe she would never know how much the ML loved FL and how far he could go for her? But is it really that simple? The Sunbae title makes more sense now.

The word "Manipulation" tends to be used in negative situation that's why I don't think the ML is manipulative.…
Sure. I'm rooting for him too. His personality and behavior are intiguing. He's not your usual male lead and I can't wait to see his improvement.

I am not saying he isn't influencing her nor the situation, I'm just against describing him as manipulative because of the negative "connotation"(?) of the word. I believe there's a better word to describe his behavior.

I do agree with the comments saying the ML is manipulative. He is, but so is the second ML. In fact, he's way…
The word "Manipulation" tends to be used in negative situation that's why I don't think the ML is manipulative. Since he is not unfairly influencing her, he is transparent as you said, she knows his intentions & he doesn't have a hidden plan. The ML is just being straighforward & fearless. He's the kind to risk it all if there's a slight chance of success. I do think he needs to tone it down sometimes with his bold actions & straightforwardness because not everyone can excuse them. He does need to learn to assess the situation & to be a little bit more thoughtful and considerate. And what amazes me about his character is that he already knows that's his problem. It was literally the reason why his ex cheated on him & left him. It will take time ofc to change since being straightforward & bold is a pillar of his personality.

The plot is very interesting. I read bits and pieces of the manhwa, it's going to be a melodramatic saeguk. Rowoon and EunBin are cuties. I've watched several dramas of Rowoon and he's one of the best idol actors, you can relax. He is exceptionally good at eye acting. Eunbin, I saw her in Stove League. She is lovely esp her smile. Can't wait for them to accept the roles.

Exactly...i see the last scene is misinterpreted....we can actually see that he was searching for her and was…
People who decided from the start to hate the ML and give him no chance to grow ofc are going to misinterpret every single thing he does. He was very happy to see her happy and it distracted him. Just how you want to give the FL time to move on her past relationship, you need to give the ML time to change. He loves her & he is straighforward but he's trying to control his actions & feelings bit by bit. Give him a break.

This drama is getting better. Well at least that's how I think. The fact that there's no drag moments at all makes me even more drawn to it. The characters are really interesting no matter how many flaws they have. Reading some comments here, I believe some people are overreacting when it comes to the ML. I don't find him creepy at all but maybe you feel that way because the drama started with him already having one-sided love for her without any preparation. I actually find him really unique. He is super honest & straighforward, not a typical ML who drags his his one sided love and suffers silently. He is really a nice guy but at the same time he makes so many mistakes out of his strong feelings for her and his will to protect her from the pain he had already experienced once. Of course he went overboard but the fact that he apologized and reflected and did learn to respect her decisions by the end of Ep 3 shows fast and great character development that people here are completely ignoring for reasons I don't know. Ep 3 & 4 are the start of a new chapter for HyunSeung. He is the fake boyfriend yes but you can't blame him for wanting to grab the chance to impress her as a man. C'mon. That's too selfless & perfect to be real. Yall are forgetting that he is also risking his own heart in this fake dating move. He is willing to play along despite of knowing that he will go through so many heartbreaks & expecting nothing in return from SongAh. Let him take responsibility for his decision which SongAh already agreed to. One more thing, the last scene in the club, no it wasn't creepy. He was just looking at her from afar which is exactly what all male leads in love do and only interfered when a man tried to bother her and wasn't even planning to let her know about his existence. If it wasn't for the confetti, she wouldn't have known about his existence. I think you guys have to stop projecting your high expectations on the ML of this drama because it's already a given that he is not perfect but he is still learning and trying to be a better person. Stop overlooking his efforts. It's starting to be annoying. You are ruining this drama for everyone with your overreaction. We're still in the beginning of the drama, let the characters develop in peace.
