I have only started this, but it feels like Ling Long's over protectiveness keeps Xuan Ji from making progress and developing

I’m only on episode 12, but it’s nice that at least Chang Ryul seems to have grown from what he did. I can’t believe how evil In Hee turned out to be. She really couldn’t be happy taking just one person from her “friend”, she had to try to take two? I just wanted to punch her.

Their rules for each other were incredibly toxic and beyond what I've really seen in other dramas, but she held it against him more when he broke their rules. The SFL was terrible and as others mentioned, she never suffered any real consequences on screen and just disappeared. (I can only assume she was fired for her deception that caused the company so many issues) I got bored during half the episodes and the story was all over the place in terms of their history/random childhood connection.

I didn't mind the ending I guess, they finally started showing a connection in the last episode. I just felt like before that, it wasn't there at all.

I wanted to enjoy this one, but I just couldn't. I didn't see any real spark between the leads at all, personally. It wasn't even the fact that FL was so childish, I can get over that....I just didn't think they made any sense as a couple. I'll add a couple things under a spoiler.

IMO Once We Get Married is a better version of the same basic story. At least those leads actually acted like they loved each other.

The one in Beautiful Reborn Flower was worse than any one I’ve ever seen, even doing super illegal things to FL. She never got enough punishment either

Love is Sweet has a really cute main couple, though the business parts can drag a bit. It’s still one of my favorites.

Did no one else hate Eun Ha and find her temper tantrums insufferable? She was delusional and selfish. Seriously, worst friend and I had zero sympathy for her.

I just started, but I’m still trying to understand why people hated that first song…I thought it was beautiful

Not a spoiler, but make sure to emotionally prepare before you start episode 11…that one got pretty heavy.

I loved it overall, but was bothered by some of the plot points that felt unfinished and ignored.

First, they were supposed to reenact a scene from the drama, but we never saw the results of which scene even won…so why even add that?

When Ma Ha and Ryok first got together, it was impossible to be alone and those 3 particular girls followed him everywhere. After they break up and get back together, suddenly they’re able to be alone in all sorts of places and no one photographs them or sees them. That part didn’t make any sense to me, they just stopped being cautious and it didn’t even matter.

I did like that Li Ma ended up being much nicer than she seemed (and never tried to sabotage them) and that Yoo Jin moved on before there was any real issue that could have ruined their
friendship. I did find it weird he practically ignored Ma Ha once he moved on, because they were such close friends before that. I’d have liked to see more of the Sparkling members personalities.

I really did enjoy this, it was one I thought could have actually used a few more episodes.

I think she’s adorable, I don’t really understand what people don’t like about her.

Also I'd watch a drama about the FL's BFF with her cute lolita and cosplay styles I'm dying for it...if anyone knows of any like that?

At Ep 25 and I think the ML gets way too much flack like....he isn't great at showing emotions, but the FL expects a mind reader. I don't dislike her, but I do think she makes decisions too hastily. I know I might dislike her if she tests him by saying he's not the father of their child though, because that's manipulative as hell. Part of me wants her back with ML bc he's mostly just got a low EQ but he DOES care...but she deserves someone who can show it...and this random third ML/guest whatever he is treats her so well and isn't entangled with anyone. I wouldn't have hated them as a final couple. I do feel like the ML worked so hard and it's weird she ignored him after her obsessive love for him.

She never really seemed to return any feelings, which is why I felt there was no real romance. It all seemed very one sided. I think her future was more important and she's honestly better off not choosing someone romantically. I definitely could have seen her falling for him though, I just don't think she fully did in what we were shown. I've watched lots of dramas with zero kissing that felt more romantic. Either way, I enjoyed the show a lot and liked all the characters.

TLDR This could be down to each person's interpretation of what romance is.

I'm just trying to understand why she suddenly starts basically acting like she hates him, without trying to talk to him or get any kind of explanation. She knew how he was when she married him. He could definitely be ridiculous and owed her more explanations without her pulling it from him, but even when he tried she wouldn't really listen. I actually didn't dislike either lead, but they had such terrible communication it was frustrating. (same goes for her best friend and her love interest, basically two men bad at expressing their feelings and two women quick to jump to conclusions and act out) The sister and best friend were at least both honest with each other. I'm only at episode 18 so far...so I have a feeling I may hate the way things end up based on spoilers I've read.

This is good, but imo don't get into it for a love story. The love story is barely relevant and almost could have been left out. This is more of a basic idol drama, there's no romance at all. For something similar that has more of a love story, check out The Brightest Star in the Sky. (similar love triangle and FL who also wanted to be an idol, but it focuses more on the romance between the leads)

I'm just starting on 6, but I mean...her dad did try to kill him multiple times even after realizing he was more than just a character. She told her dad what he was doing was murder and had he listened that wouldn't have happened. And also what if everything he was doing after knowing she would randomly get sucked in caused her to die or get stuck there? He didn't even consider that when he was destroying his equipment. Then there's the fact that he kept antagonizing him and telling him he couldn't make any choices that weren't pre-determined, he literally dared him to shoot him.

I really liked that the ML in this is at his worst just kind of oblivious. Once he actually knew her feelings, he acted fast in clearing up any misunderstanding. I'm not quite halfway through yet, but so far I think it's pretty cute. I do think (at least early on) the FL can be a bit unfair, she was constantly expecting him to just read into things that he just was not getting.
