Having seen both movies, I do understand that the reason the producer thinks the movies are similar is because in the Tamil movie the whole family movie into the house of the wealthy and I guess that is sort of what happens in parasite. Although, personally as the article states, the characters reasons in both the movies are very different as in why the families in the respective movies move into the homes of the wealthy.
I wasn’t going to make a comment originally but just reading the comments below I do want to say that I have seen much better Korean movies than parasite. I think the movie is very well directed, great acting and cinematography, like everything is great but it’s missing something and while I am not a qualified critic, as someone who watched the movie I just don’t think it deserved the hype it did. I love thrillers and I’ve seen ones that are better than this. That’s just me and I’m not gonna apologise for my opinion because I can’t help it that, that’s how I view the movie. I am glad the movie is doing well and it will certainly open doors for a lot of international movies to be recognised.
It's a great list, i feel that hyun bin should have been first though, every time i watch secret garden i still break down to tears at that scene. However all of them are great actors:D

It kinda reminds me of Raak Boon, the Thai drama. The girl in that can see ghosts and the main lead also runs a company however the plot is kinda different but the characters are kinda the same.
I think you should have also included actors Kim Jae Won and Nam Goong Min who play the characters Cha Dong Joo and Jang Joon Ha in "Can You Hear My Heart?"
Even though they are step-brothers, i loved watching their bromance till the end! Like some of the other bromances on the list, these guys stayed together through thick and thin, even though they went through a lot painful, sad things together.
However i really do like the list you have got there! It's reaaallly good!
