I agree with you on the non-romance part if you are referring to the previews too. Based on the novel, it will be a different type of 'romance' compared to the usual cdramas/kdramas. It will be more situations of I help you and you help me. I will do whatever it takes to save your life (if that makes sense, I just don't want to spoil too much). As the main storyline is focused on MC's journey to immortality.
Don’t forget looting! And his Luck must be at maximum level because he gets legendary drops too 😆
When it comes to his most important item which is the green vile(potion looking thing) that speeds up growth by 100x (I think), there's a reason why he obtains it, I won't spoil it for you. It's mainly MC's plot armor that will be explained later on in his cultivation journey, however we most likely won't see why he finds the vile this season.
The previews for the next two episodes is so funny and I thought there was no romance in this lol
Light amount of romance, I'm not sure how much since it's a TV adaptation. In the original source material (novel) the romance was kept to a minimum. Main character's adventures/main fights will mainly be solo. He does have to do something important for the Female main lead later on in his cultivation journey/ not going to spoil it for you.
Broooooo, this is so much better than martial universe 😭 this is how expect a cultivation live action should…
I agree with you about the fight scenes being freaking epic! What do you think of the special effects/CGI? Do you think it can get to the levels of Donghuas like Renegade immortal/Lord of the Mysteries if they eventually integrate AI special effects in the future TV shows (I think it's a possibility in the future-maybe 3-5 years from now)
He is like Doraemon, carry a pocket pouch that has endless space;).
There's different levels of storage bags / storage rings. His right now is probably the lower end which carries 10x10 feet (or more/i forgot from the novel) worth of things
Definitely like game. They love killing each other. Normally to become immortal isn’t you have to do kindness…
I agree with you too. What I mean by the fight being violent is what it will most likely be like if it shows MC using the small invisible threads to cut someone apart. All their limbs would be severed from the body and blood would be flowing everywhere. People's heads would be chopped off like it's nothing new. They definitely won't show that to us as viewers in modern earth lol.
I don't remember exactly when because I read the novel 8 years ago, he should be at least foundation establishment, which it looks like after ep 12-13 based on the trailer I saw. The drama's pace has been good so far, I didn't think he would get to foundational establishment so soon. Not much scenes of him training/cultivating.
It looks like this drama is from a video game : kill someone, burn him, get power. Repeat. I may be too old for…
Yes, it's mainly about Han Li's power progression, in this case Yang Yang's path to true immortality. Right now he is not an 'immortal', he's still in his lower levels of cultivation(level of power). Later on there will be more scheming needed for him to survive, so I won't spoil it for you if you decide to continue watching.

Often in the cultivation world it's more ruthless (based on the novels/stories) than you think. It really depends on what the immortal's dao is. So, a 'kind' immortal will prob have a dao of love, etc. Usually that's like higher tier cultivators/immortals.
rewatching again and I must say the camera work for that fight scene goes crazy!!!!
Agreed, they put an effort towards the movement and cinematography. If only the special effects was up to the highest standard. Entertaining episode 11
