After watching this remake, I noticed a difference from the previous series. In the previous series, during the first adventure, when Wu Xie was poisoned, Xiao Ge gave him a pill (qilin blood) to save him. The effects of this qilin blood influenced the story in subsequent installments, particularly the qinling tree, where Wu Xie's blood effectively repelled the killer insects.

But I don't see Wu Xie taking the pill (qilin blood) in this series.

Am I missing something in this story?
