Nothing is ever as simple as it seems, you can't fall out of favor that rapidly, there has to be events leading up to it for him to just cast her aside. When a woman cut her hair then, it was a sign of mourning for her husband or parents. So in doing that it was like she was cursing the Emperor and Empress Dowager to die, it was very taboo. But she was probably so done at that point, she had to know what she was doing. I LOVED Empresses in the Palace/The Legend of Zhen Huan, with all my heart, it is my favorite drama of all time. So I'm really excited about this. Especially the cast, the sets, props, everything looks fantastic. You guys wait and see, it'll be worth the 90-ep watch.
