For a drama that is based on rom fluff, it falls flat when they insert bullsh*t like her rejecting his proposal *indirectly* to chase some material dream. How is that romantic or pure in any way? It just made her seem so shallow, almost disgusting. Even after all of the ML's efforts, he's made to wait another year before she accepts the proposal, like a dumb little dog? It just makes all the characters seem shameless.
What happened to love? Sacrifice for love? Living for love? Not superficial "dream". Such a cringe plot twist that wasn't needed. Equivalent to giving her amnesia or something like other bs KDrama writers do.
How large is the romance aspect in this series? There's 3 seasons which is unusual for kdrama's so is the romance light or heavy? Do the leads actually get together in S1 or like in S2? The trailer didn't seem too "Dr Romantic" so I'm confused :P
The first 5 episodes were so good then the writing just went downhill. The forced chaos and tragedy was unnecessary. Why did choi, yang and doo all dying was pathetic, I thought their deaths would lead to character development for ML's so they finally become knifers or learn to kill. But instead they simply have a "gym bro" period and don't even kill the villains. This series could've been so satisfying but it had a nonsense ending. Why add all the gore and edginess just to limit the development of the ML's? There was so much build up to a dark, serious theme just to ruin it by letting Myung Gil live.
I thought Yang and Choi would go down fighting, not in a boring, disrespectful ambush. So much potential stolen and Yang losing a 1 on 1 to Myung Gil was a joke. Choi's death was inevitable but again, such a lousy and pathetic end for him. They built up all these great characters and gave them the most meaningless and disrespectful deaths ever. I have no idea why the last 2 episodes suddenly became a new team with the ilm group and gang. No idea why that was needed. Instead they could've killed Yang in ep 7 while fighting properly and then Choi in ep 8 while trying to save someone. Choi died like a bitch, it was too disrespectful. Myung Gil didn't get his justice.
I get why it's so highly rated with ep 1-5 but after that it's just a typical KDrama that has a shit ending.
it is a true slow burn because they are two idiots in love that believe the other would never like them in this…
Thank you for all these deets! Sounds ok but episode 13 is soooo very late! Is there any build up before that? How much romantic moments between them before they're official? I'm guessing no kiss until after episode 13 too?
How graphic are the medical scenes? What ep does the couple form at and how many ep does the break up last (if they break up)? And how much rom is in this or is it just a side part of the medical story.

Not the pure rom-com it tried to be.
