The main one was in regard to the Keep Running season 13 poster. Bai Lu has a schedule conflict due to previous filming commitment, preventing her from attending the initial recording. Instead of photoshopping Bai Lu into the main Keep Running season 13 poster like they usually do when member couldn't attend, they lazy out and hanged a face portrait frame of Bai Lu instead. In Asian culture, face portrait frame are often use to honor and remember the dead so to some superstitious people it is bad etiquette and disrespectful. In addition to that the PD incorrectly tagged Bai Lu weibo account.

No idea... They are scheduled for 12 episodes total for season 13. They might edit it by merging episode 1 part 2 into episode 2 to fit 12 episodes or they will just live stream the extra scenes without making it an actual episode like the did it season 10. We will have to see. Most likely episode 2 will continue from episode 1 and we will have a longer episode 2.

By the look of it, she will either appear in episode 4 (May 16th) if they shorten it or episode 5 (May 23rd) because episode 1 was split into 2 parts.

Basically this episode 1 was supposed to be the pilot episode 0 that was announced however for some reasons they replaced the Xi'an conference as the pilot episode 0 instead for last week. If you look at previous seasons, you will notice that the pilot episode 0 and episode 1 are usually one recording with the same guests.

It will be less confusing it you assume time is a loop instead of a straight line. Since Fan Yue entered the dream realm and changed Mu Jiu’s fate, it created another parallel loop which then converge into one (so there exist Mu Jiu #1 from the original time line and Mu Jiu#2 from the parallel time that supposedly co-exist). However because Mu Jiu#1 died in the first time loop only Mu Jiu #2 exist. Therefore no matter what time, Mu Jiu always existed. It's similar to Harry Potter time loop if you have seen it.

As @Sana alluded, they are probably trying to break into the US market. It is still a well known brand in the Asia just not the European or America. FYI, I just found out that it is partially owned by Colgate which is a popular brand American brand. It was developed to specifically target Asia market.

I wouldn't say WangHe is the sole reason why they went to the city, he probably did played a part in the persuasion for going. It's pretty common for youngsters in small town to want to go to big city like Beijing after graduation whether it is for the curiosity of experiences, work opportunity, testing their ability or making it big out there. I have known plenty of relatives who moved to the capital city after graduating high school or college only to realize that is it not the right path for them that they end up coming back home to the suburb.

I can't say much for New York cause there is a China Town there so it may be more known, otherwise it still an unknown brand in USA. It might be sold in some Chinese grocery stores other than that you won't find it in any US store such as Walmart, Target, CVS, and such.

Can someone remind me where I've seen the plot for FL's best friend Zhong Si Zhao regarding the grandpa? It's look like an exact copy and paste of a drama or plot I've seen in the past, from the grandpa hiding his illness to chase his wife away. This plot is definitely not in the novel nor the manhua of the First Frost... so where I've seen it???

I couldn't bear a rewatch, even till now I still cry whenever I see the OST "As It Is" by Zhang Bichen. Whenever the crying scene pop up, I cried along with Shiyi.

Filming started in November 2023 to March 2024, basically started during the airing of SOKP. I remember when SOKP hit 10k heat index on iQiyi Bai Lu and Moonlight Mystique crew danced to Good Luck song as fan service. After the wrap up, they also film the special episode in October 2024

I'm not sure how those platform decide what to add to their streaming platforms because I haven't use those before but I believe it is based on multiple factors such as how well receive the platform think the drama will be and cost of the copyright, basically all boils down to how much profit they will make. For example, Netflix will buy copyrights of unpopular series because it is cheap therefore in the end they will still make a profit. I know that TTEOTM also sold their copyrights to Korean streaming platforms after it finished airing in China. Basically, there is no set standard rules as based on just popularity but on how much profit these platform believe they will make. Popular ones tends to get added but also depend on pricing too. Bai Lu's drama tends to get added to Korean platform because she has a solid Korean fanbase. Hope it helps!

Same feeling! This one and the one with Zhuo Yiran are my favorites of Bai Lu duet to! Think she may have found her singing style as she continues to explore. I would like to hear more of these song style.

Plot wise: It is mainly about the development of ML and FL and how their environment shaped their life choices.
Ending: not a happy one but it is a good ending meaning it is a logical one and the pain and tears were well felt and shedded.
Definitely recommend you to give it a try.

iQiyi does but it is through it apps. While this is a different platforms that actually belong to the Korean not Chinese. Likely to be exposed to more Korean as more Korean uses these streaming platforms than iQiyi. Similar to how Netflix is American platforms vs iQiyi.

She signed with her company in July 2016 for 10 years so her contract should be expiring soon in 2026.
