people hating on jisoo's acting are really blowing it out of proportion bc as far as im concerned shes doing really good in this drama at least. Now i havent watched snowdrop and newtopia so maybe people have some kind of bias against her acting bc of them? either way, the amount of hate she gets because of her acting is really weird especially when actors and actresses who are doing way worse of a job in dramas currently airing like in "our universe" get away with it

im only at the beginning but i will say this is already shaping up to be one of my favorite seasons and i love how it seems like they listened to feedback from season 4. everyone is so different both in looks and personality. in season 4, i rlly liked a few contestants like you jin, theo and jiyeon but that was abt it with the rest of the men being incredibly boring/unbearable and every female contestant besides si an (who was very boring tbh) was done dirty. this season is not boring and most importantly, we're getting good SCREENTIME DISTRIBUTION (at least so far) which will hopefully give the viewers the opportunity to decide whether they like a contestant. i also heard that it gets more dramatic too which i love

thats a valid way to look at it. my issue is that she was chasing him the wholeeeee time, he was ready to go to the next step ig? but every time anything relating to the second female lead happens, he looked like a kicked puppy who still cares abt her so the female lead very fairly came to her own conclusions based on the way he acted and decided to stop chasing him (I get that shes insecure but most people, confident or not, would get to this same conclusion based on the way he acted). idk abt you but if a guy keeps on giving a girl mixed messages, she has the right to stop chasing him and believe what she sees and its not something fair to be offended abt, he has the right to be sad abt it, but the whole line abt him feeling wronged is not valid at all. she didnt owe him her chasing him. his job was to be the one to pursue her now instead of getting upset, but no, the show framed it as if the female lead majorly wronged him (and not a single time, did it even attempt to frame him as having done ANYTHING wrong in that scene) , i wouldve been okay if it showcased that scene as both of them being in the wrong. thatd be fine, but im supposed to believe hes the victim in this scenario? absolutely not

like im on episode 7 and im so weirded out by how the show is making it seem like she should be the one apologizing. its so annoying

other than that tho, the show is really good so far

one thing i wanna say abt the portrayal of the characters. In the crosswalk scene in episode 6, the show really framed it as if ho jin has any right whatsoever to feel offended that the fl doesnt wanna continue pursuing him after doing so for quite a while. its not even an issue with the chars here, the show is deadass making it seem like the female lead was in the wrong for not wanting to keep on chasing him and its rlly making it seem like his feelings of being offended by that are valid in any way. its so weird. i wouldnt mind if the show portrated it as hojin being the one who is in the wrong for acting all offended but it isnt...

im honestly very surprised bc so far were at episode 9 and its still very consistently good. the mystery is also very good still. its usually the last 2 eps that mess it up though so i hope the writers are careful with it

to put it simply, it doesnt sound like human beings. so either these are in fact ai or the singers are heavilyyyy autotuned. its kind of a funny coincidence how both of the singers in the first scene sound like this. im just sayinggg
