The FL was really haughty and condescending, and the ML was way too nice. It wasn't that easy to root for either…
Sorry to say but I strongly disagree with you. Have you watched the dram?? She has been hurting like hell for 3 years after her groom died on wedding day on his way to Chapel. Could you imagine how traumatizing that can be? She felt guilty to such extent that she deprives herself to any romantic relationship, just the words her dead fiance told her while proposing makes her heart flutter, her world colorful and she feel attracted to the ML. Come on guys! It's a gem.

Sorry to say, but every point you mentioned is completely wrong. ML wasn't clingy, he let go of his feelings for FL several times but people associated with FL gave him encouragement as well as he felt love for the FL genuinely and FL also inspired him to do better, such as standing up against the sexual harrassment in his office even though he knew that would cost him his promotion. FL wasn't toying with him at all, she even felt and said several times to her sister, friends that she doesn't deserve a good person like the ML. If she were desperate, she wouldn't have stayed without a relationship for 3 years after her fiance died and her friend, the violinist constantly expressing his love for her. Have you even see the forced kiss scene where the violinist friend kissed her and she felt nothing and walk away, that's her integrity for her deceased fiance. Sorry to say but O really feel it's totally useless to try to explain all these to you when you literally took every aspect of the drama in a totally wrong way. More like it feels you haven't watched the drama or skipped a lot of part, most obviously. Have a nice day.
