I thought the whole seen between Rain & Payoo was confusing. First Shun kisses Rain and Payoo saw and was upset…
He loves him since childhood...he said that in ep 9. He was aware of Rain advances all along, BUT he is more than aware that this kind of relationship is very dangarous and will creaed problems (mainly the parents on both sides). That why he acts as nothing happened - it must stay a secret.
The smirking is getting on my nerves too. Rather than be honest with his 'boy' he's doing this weird thing and…
I just watched the 6th episode, and until the very last 3-4 minutes it did not get any better! I also don't get the people who think the driver is a fun watch. I cringe when I see him... completely unnecessary and weird in a bad way. Poor Zee, let him act already!
So far, disappointed from Ep 2 thru Ep 5. Hoping for better Ep in the future...let Zee actually act, not only smirk. He is one of the better actors in the BL industry, especially when matched with Saint ( chemistry wise). Something in the "Daddy-Junior" relationship here does not excite me...sorry.
Despite its flaws I'm surprisingly still enjoying this show. One thing that puzzles me is Lian's motivations.…
Strongly disagree. If you saw Zee in WhyRU begging Saint for explanation of their forced breakup and telling him how broken he is...he was brilliant, and I considered him to be one of the better actors in BL. I think he is not too impressive in Cutie pie, so far, because the director just asked him to smirk a lot..he was not given any opportunity/ lines to show how good he can be.
So far, I really love this series... however, as a westerner, I have a question. Why, almost in all Asian dramas, there is always a nose bleed scene?!?!? you never see it in Western movies/ dramas. Actually, you hardly see it in real life...What'ss the purpose/ message of it? I am seriously curious. Even in Semantic Error it appears in the second ep.
To my star tops everything and where your eyes linger was good enough. Found these two are the only Korean BLs…
Agree! Those two are still the best! However, there are some shorter ones worth watching like " long time no see" and " As you whisper". Let's hope for Semantic Error to be a good one...so far, so good
i also didn’t like light on me, which is pretty rare seeing as everyone was obsessed with it, but i do like…
I am happy to see that others also didn't go crazy for " Light on me". I couldn't figure out why 2 great guys are falling for a really boring guy...oh, well.
I think she thinks she looks younger when she shows no expression (no lines) but it has the opposite effect. Younger…
Truthfully, her casting with much younger male leads must be very stressful...she should start to act with more mature, more experienced actors, and shy away from cliche scripts. As for her expressionless beautiful face, time to let go...and show some true emotions. I agree strongly with your input.
Can you feel the love between them? because I don't! There is not one scene I can think about that shows them happily spending time together with some touching, laughing, flirting, having spontaneous sex without desperation...you know, what couples in love do...there is only misery. I am surprised by the complete lack of chemistry between them, especially with her wooden, expressionless face...I already realized in "Encounter" that she has a very, very limited acting abilities, but here it looks as if she even stopped trying to act...He usually can pull it off, but not in this case. Bad story, bad script, bad acting. Big turnoff.
You have to understand that this series is'nt BL focused at all. I hav'nt watched Bite me or My sweet dearbut…
You are right. I shouldn't refer to it as a BL. Anyway, I guess I was disappointed with Singto's casting as a "Gay conquerer"...more like a weird Teddybear with inappropriate advances on (kind of...?) straight men. The other actors, all three of them, are well casted and deserve acknoweldgment. And I agree with you - odd pacing, add on characters...wrong.
Can you plz recommend some dramas like we best love i loved it
If you are not familiar with Taiwanese series, I recommend HIStory #1, #2 and especially #3 "Trapped". All are good...as for Korean series check out "Where your eys linger", "As you whisper", "Long time no see" and my favorite of all times "To my star"...If you want to check out Japanese series look for "Cherry magic" and both movies called "His". You will notice I recommend a bit more mature topics and actors...no highschool kids in shorts...Good Luck.
I cannot decide which of the following series is worse - Bite me, My sweet dear or Baker boys. All three take the BL genre backwards...Just watch Trapped, To the stars and We Best Love to to realize what I am referring to...
I love Singto dearly, but he is not convincing at all as a Gay conquerer... sorry. As many others, I am comparing it to the casting of the SK "Antique bakery" ,(2008), and feel that the Thai casting was off. Actually, lee or even Pluan would have been more convincing...They are HOT...
Actually, you hardly see it in real life...What'ss the purpose/ message of it? I am seriously curious. Even in Semantic Error it appears in the second ep.
