I love this review as I agree with everything you said!!!! I'm wondering tho, why did you not rate it higher?…
Honestly, I can't really explain why but 7.5 seemed right to me. But knowing my indecisive ass, I'd overthink it and give it an 8 eventually lol. I'm glad you liked the review tho =)
Right. This latest episode made no sense whatsoever. What was going on with Lily? What was the point exposing…
THIS!!! Everything is unrealistic af, and yes, I understand that we cannot expect every show to be realistic, but when you are dealing with a story premise of this sort, some logic is required to make the show even mildly good story-wise. This show completely lacks that. The only reason why I like it/ continue watching this is because of the character dynamics. It's hard to find characters you can get so attached to within the first 5 EPs so I'll give GMM the praise they deserve for the characters but the plot is shit and I say this as someone who actually likes the show somehow.
this show reaches new levels of stupid every week, but at least it's still entertaining as hell. also it has fadel
Your comment totally sums up how I feel about this show. I LOVE the character dynamics very much but the plot and the storyline are shit but at least they have Fadel lmao.
Theory after EP3 (I know I'm late:( ) "P'Cir what do I do? I just kissed a guy who has a boyfriend." "It's you." "Phu don't blame yourself. If someone's to blame, it'll be me" Why is Bro constantly tryna gas light Phu into thinking he is his boyfriend instead of going back to his actual boyfriend? Unless his actual boyfriend somehow came to this world from his own and lost his memory or something and maybe what Cir can't tell Phu is that the reason that happened is cuz Cir was somehow responsible for it and now feels guilty or something. I think this kind of explains why Cir is so adamant about this Phu being his boyfriend Or maybe all those theories about Cir being a stalker are true Idk.
BL fans ability to NOT understand complex characters, emotions and portrayal of much more than what can be simply seen by the eye will never not surprise me. This may not be the best show out there but in terms of acting, cinematography and portrayal of emotions, this is a great one. Don't be discouraged by the low rating. Take it with a grain of salt.
I was just thinking last night how much I miss Spare Me Your Mercy even tho it hasn't even been a month since it ended:( Wednesdays and Thursdays are not as exciting anymore:(
This is prolly the only show I have waited for the whole week after Spare Me Your Mercy. And it serves every time! I'm watching this cuz I love this and not just for watching's sake. It's rare to find BLs like that.
Yes that touched me as well...And I cursed at his ex instantly even though he appeared in 2 scenes..But when Thame…
IKR!!! I was so sad when Po cried before Thame even completed his sentence prolly cuz he was reminded of how his ex prioritised work over him and left him when things worked out for his career:( My poor soft baby:( (I feel like a mother trying to protect ThamePo's happiness)
"Next time don't follow my speed okay? Just be yourself. I want to adjust myself to your rhytm too." "How about we find a balance to see which speed suits us best?" When I tell you I actually shed tears at this, without doubt, I did. Wow, this just actually changed my brain chemistry. God, I love my softspoken couple ThamePo/WilliamEst so much:(
What this comment tells me is that it;s a good drama, but it's a complete failure of an adaptation and I'm not…
I haven't read the webtoon so I do not know if the ending was happy or sad and this is also why I only compared this to the K-drama. If the webtoon meant a lot to you then yes it totally makes sense for you not to watch it=)
