The multiseason was preplanned before the drama aired. It feels like Penthouse is a weekend drama that is split into sections to air in a weekday primetime slot.
I would like to know why some rated this drama 1 star of 10! I don't think Kairos deserves such low ratings, especially after watching 14 episodes of gripping plot, great acting and amazing production value. Are we watching the same drama?

Please continue watching. I liked ep 8, it felt like a closing for Season 1. So far all questions are answered in the following eps and all their actions make sense and it wasn't done just because. Watching this drama is like watching puzzle pieces come together. We learn along with the characters. Our frustrations are their frustrations too, and the good thing is the characters voice them out. Some may say they are trapped in a loop, but imo they aren't. They are continuously moving to find 'Kairos' aka the right, critical or opportune moment to make a move that will benefit the good guys.
I thought that too, never heard scientifically that a person can go alive as far as 31 days. Probably an error…
Lol. I doubt it will be addressed. And I'm totally fine with it. I'm less concerned about food...I just wonder how horrific it would have been for him to be stuck with a corpse for 31 days.
Why did the ratings drop again?! 7.9 does not do the drama justice. I hope people will still watch Kairos despite it's lower than average MDL rating.
It's not a drama to be understood in one sitting. You have to watch the events unravel to see the bigger picture. Anyone who gives it a low rating before it even ends is doing the drama severe injustice. So far up to ep 12, the characters are well developed. The plot makes sense and their motivations are masterfully outlined by the writer. In addition to that the acting and production value is top notch.

It's unfair to give it low just because there are other time-related dramas before this. It's unfair to rate a drama by comparing it to another drama. Rate it by it's own content. Kairos is different than signal and tunnel. It just shares the element of 'time' in it's plot.

Forget that the previous Seojin who knows Aeri is in danger exists. That Seojin (Seojin ep1-8) got wiped out after Dabin's kidnapping didn't happen and his wife is alive.
The Seojin in the accident in October is the Seojin who didn't trust her, the one who believed she was a kidnapper. He had no reason to meet Aeri until he gets more info. And to get more info, we need to watch new eps.

I think you might have mixed timelines. Aeri mum was found dead in September, not October. But that murder case didn't happen because Aeri found her mother in August (ep6) based on future Seojin (in September) tip.
The only way for Seojin-Aeri to meet is in Aeri's timeline because October Seojin is in hospital due to the accident. The accident happened on 9th October. The events towards the accident is currently being revealed in the latest few eps.

The accident hasn't happened yet in Aeri's timeline. It's still September in her timeline. That's why there's no Seojin meet Aeri before the accident in October because it's still September. To be precise it's up to 19 September for Aeri in her timeline. We will have to wait for a few more eps for Aeri's timeline to be in October.

The other eps, Seojin tried to find her but was not able to. The time interval between them is short, only a month. In that month they contacted each other, he saved her life twice, got her out from prison, went to her house more than once but never saw her because something always happened to her.
Agree with you, too many antagonists with their own plots. And we still don't know why Seo Jin's wife wanted him…
I feel that dad is dead and she's imagining him still being around. No other character interacted with dad except for Hyunchae. HC 'saw' dad approcahing Seojin and Seojin 'looking' at dad....but this too can be all in her head.
I think it's clear what HC wants...she wants money and more money. She wants to be rich and have it all...with no man by her side...but she wants it the 'easy' way. Instead of working and building her own fortune, she hangs on to a man, dispose him and run away with inheritance + insurance money. Dogyun is just a tool. She easily discarded him when the first kidnapping plan did not work, and started plotting with Lee Taek Gyu behind Do Gyun's back.
I heard they did something with the rating system so every show here suffered a drop.
Kairos ratings dropped 0.7 points from 8.8 earlier this week. I don't understand how the ratings can drop that much if the system is updated. This drama deserves more.

You can't really compare Life on Mars and Signal to Kairos. In Life on Mars there was no time travelling per say, just a character thrown to the past. In Signal the time frame is wide, the effect is not immediate and they were investigating crime cases already done 20 years ago.
I agree with @hurixa that Kairos actually makes sense as far as time-related drama goes. Kairos time frame is so short, the consequences of the choices they make are nearly immediate. Whatever happens in Aeri's timeline is fixed and can't be changed. However, Aeri has the chance to make changes to her future(also the past for Seojin) based on input from Seojin who is living one month ahead from her.
Their communication is important as shown in ep 8. With one out of commision, Seojin being unconcious, he was unable to tell Aeri his new findings, he can't tell her his other version planted cops at the venue, so don't go there. Aeri who can't see the future took matters in her own hands...as a result she was jailed. I think ep8 highlighted that they need each other to attempt to make changes that are beneficial to both.
And I still want answers why there is no Han Ae Ri in the future.
Something happened to her as hinted by Aeri herself in a previous ep. For some reason her ID can't be used by Seojin to track Dabin. Aeri gave Seojin, Geunwook's ID to use the baby tracker. As to what happened to her at the end of September, we will have to wait and see. Currently the drama main timeline is September.

Maybe you missed the part were Dogyun told Dabin about a huge teddy bear and showed her the way.
After Dabin was scolded by dad, Dogyun came to comfort her and said 'would you want to see a huge teddy bear' and proceeds to carry her somewhere which was not shown on screen.
During the event, Dabin got bored and most likely still sad about dad. She believes dad and mum doesn't like her (refer previous episodes where she said dad-mum are fighting because of her, but they aren't. They were fighting because mum is cray2). When she went out of the hall, Dabin actually followed the path Dogyun brought her before.
The kidnapping plan was actually near perfect. They planned it to look like Dabin was running away. Jinho stayed at the groundfloor to take her with him. HC and DG even made sure to introduce Dabin to Jinho beforehand.
