Omph this was a rough one. I loved/liked the first few episodes, but the rest was hard to get through - especially the last four episodes. At that point I just didn't care for the FL, ML, or the couple together.
I have mixed feelings. I actually like most of this show and its chaos. The chemistry and ridiculous plot points are fun.
But my mind keeps going back to the first ep and the romantic main lead ordering a gang rape (and didn't seem like the first time). Like if there is going to be consequences or remorse than okay, but I highly doubt it.
It would have been so easy to change it to a beating instead of purposively adding in the belt removing sound effect so you can hear it over the music. Its 2025 - it being in the book doesn't matter. Nothing plot wise or story wise is affected if they change it to a beating.
I like this show for what it was - not as much as the original but still liked parts of it. The issue is that this show has 6 less hours worth of time so its not surprising it felt rushed in parts. The show hit the plot points but skipped out on the scenes that helped build the relationships. It needed more episodes.
