I agree! While I love the couple, their path is such typical Xianxia trope - the sweet innocent FL who just continues doing her thing while everyone else will go through personal growth and changes. I hope the future episodes will show XLH becoming a bit more savvy and grow up more. After all she’s been exposed to a dishonest friend, more of the “outside” world, people trying to kill her and DFQC etc
