Are the latest episodes that bad? Because Im in the middle of watching This but I dont know what madd me come…
Rather than bad I just think we expected too much and got disappointed. It hurts more to get disappointed rather than getting something mediocre from the start. Personally I still love the characters and their story, it's just the drama went into 'kdrama cliche' mode and it felt a bit like a slap in the face since it felt so refreshing and unique before that. Judge it as a kdrama, not as something extraordinary, then you'll be fine.

Title Find Me in Your Memory Spoiler
Honestly I hate this - the fact that Anchor Lee tries so hard to fight for them and that Ha Jin keeps leaving him. I hoped they would take a different approach...

Also, why in nearly every kdrama one of the leads has to go abroad before the finale? Enough of that. Do something different, please.

[ this is coming from a No. 1 fan of this drama. It's just...ughh! ]

All in all, I didn't like 2 things in this drama:

- Firstly, the way Jeong Hoon got stabbed. That was...unnecessary. He didn't HAVE to go up there with police on his side, yet he still did. I guess their end-game was Jeong Hoon walking in the hospital, wounded but alive, while seeing the stalker - bedridden in the vegetable state. So, that's okay. I can forget about this little slip up as it didn't change much of the overall plot.

- Second is Ha Jin leaving Jeong Hoon. The first time she left him, it was frustrating. They just promised each other to 'Never Say Goodbye' and then she broke that promise. But since she came back to him in the end, asking whether she can't just 'Stay with Him', I accepted her leaving and accepted her return.

Her suddenly changing her mind and the whole cat and mouse game following that was...okay, I guess. We got cute scenes out of that and it showed just how much Jeong Hoon is truly invested in the relationship. Just how real it is for him. And who wouldn't want a man that you know will stay by your side no matter what?

Hence, the second time...

When our leads are once again ready to fight the storm, mostly Jeong Hoon's initiative, and they're supportive of each other and all that, but then, once again, Ha Jin choses to leave him, and this time for something as cliche as going abroad. Can't we like...not? This is just SO FRUSTRATING. Let them either be a couple that loves each other but cannot support each other so are forced to leave each other's side until...they mature or sth, OR, make them a couple that can stay together no matter what comes at them. They could have tried holding a press conference to give 'Their Side of the Story' or Jeong Hoon could have left for the US together with her.

I'm just...so invested in this drama and it feels so frustrating to see that they were so close to perfection yet went with the most cliche kdrama approach. Sigh. I still love this drama, but...you know.

That piece of sh....I can't believe he actually did that!? Well, I can, but how CAN he not care for any of the consequences his selfishness would bring upon, just thinking about his own ego? He's in the same league as the stalker guy. They both seem to have dedicated their lives for one goal and didn't care who got hurt in the process. Even if it is themselves. Even when Tae Eun tried so hard... Tae Eun! I'm sorry to have misunderstood you! But you have an evil man for a father. With his ambition he destroyed so many lives in a blink of an eye.

Also, the way Jeong Hoon got lured to the rooftop...what was up with that? He had police on his tail, there was no need to go in alone. He's not even a cop. They should have made a more believable excuse to make him be unable to NOT go. Now he acted like a typical Female lead. I don't think I have ever seen male lead act so randomly stupid before. But oh well. The stalkers 'punishment' was well deserved at least. Now, CAN WE PUNISH THE PROFESSOR EQUAL AMOUNT?

For real, though. Why are there so many criminals around them?

Title Born Again Spoiler
idk if that is a spoiler, but is jong bum a sociopath? Im getting confused the whole time
It probably is a spoiler. I guess it just means that he was born without the ability to feel and that's why he didn't cry when his relative died and also why he could stay with a corpse for 3 days.
On The King: Eternal Monarch May 2, 2020
The disrespect to the Prime Minister is rather annoying. They could've made her look more badass than just shouting to everyone that she knows her stuff. She has to know, as a Prime Minister. Now if she knows and strategically uses that knowledge, then that's something to shut those old geezers up with.

There seems to be a problem with this show. Somewhere in the core of it all. Where exactly is that romance coming from? It's...dare I say, cringy and boring. As a hardcore kdrama fan, I just can't get behind it. It's like watching a constant advertisment; there are beautiful people, beautiful views, high production, but I just can't seem to "feel" anything from it.

The naval battle was probably ten times more interesting than their relationship as a whole.

I feel like my sheer disappointment is gonna rate this lower than it actually is simply because it seems SO HIGH QUALITY but...dead inside.

I'm so glad they decided to go through the hard times together. Yay!

Thinking about it, out of all the women and men out there these two could have fallen for, falling for one another just makes a somewhat perfect sense. Seo Yun is someone irreplaceable in their hearts. It's like a void neither of them would ever be able to heal. And she's also the person these two had loved the most. Nobody else out there could ever fully understand who is this "Seo Yun" that my person can never forget about. But these two can not only understand but also share and feel. They can comfort each other when one of them misses her, they can understand the love and affection that will never fade and they're only stronger for it. They might have "accidently" falled in love but what will keep them together is Seo Yun herself, I believe.

I am 100% certain Jong Bum didn't kill the woman. My bet is on the restaurant owner. She probably lost her child…
Maybe the police lied to the public to make it seem like "justice was served". Having him kill himself perhaps wouldn't be "satisfying".

I really wished for them to hold on to one another. No matter how painful it is. I hope by the end of the episode Ha Jin will accept Jeong Hoon's support.

Title Find Me in Your Memory Spoiler
Jeong Hoon is the best psychologist for himself and others. And it's kinda true. If you're an introvert, someone who literally spent decades analysing yourself, you're likely to know yourself and how to help yourself better than any doctor out there.

I was wheezing the whole time since the movies.
"Do you really have no idea or are you asking me to test you?" lmao

They're such cuties! Let's protect them with all our might!

Professor is a scumbag. Hence why we're gonna get such a heartache in the next ep.

I think maybe it's also the difference between a "memory of a feeling" and his "current feeling". He can remember…
That's a good point. I hope he'll get a doctor who would think like that sooner rather than later...
On The King: Eternal Monarch Apr 25, 2020
The King: Eternal Monarch has a very similar vibe to Goblin (no surprise here, same screenwriter), but what Goblin did right - making the first two episodes fly like a wind - Monarch didn't - making it drag for 4 episodes.

The 4 episodes were good if you make a summary of it. But they should have had SO MUCH cutting done to convey the point across more effectively.

That's very true and I hope against hope that it doesn't come to the worst case scenario where Anchor Lee is exposed…
That's so frustrating. They should be finding ways to make him happy, to convince him to "try" instead the patient himself has to convince his doctors, like wtf.

I hope so, because the production and the visuals are top-notch, just the plot is rather draggy so far.

She's an officer who also took on several guys in a fist fight. Plus her motto is 'being brave". I guess she pretty much resigned herself to her fate, and if worse comes to worst she'll just fight her way out.

Also, spoilers.
