The plot is good, and a lot can be done to be honest, it feels like every episode us many plot opportunity but kinda wasted and skipped dont know why. The Fl Character is just bad man, a pain to see, and the brother is one of decent one.
Once again MDL rating really underapreciate japanese drama as often i find a low rating but really damn good compared to chinese drama that often had high rating but mid overall.
Regardless of the theme, damn even when the movie is really outdated its really hits me hard as one impossible love and going through with it.
The romance is compelings, slow, and soft but delivered better than most romance these days. Such amazing cast and story telling.
At the end i just want both of them to be happy regardless.

The score is really underated, because you dont agree with the logic doesnt meant it automaticaly bad, hte plot, delivery, adaptation and the act is good and really enjoyable ride, easi 8.5 from me.
This is one of the example that MDL rating doesnt always reflect on how good and bad the drama/mobie was.
From the first episode it was Pain and every epsiode until the end, a lot of unlikable character which is realisticly presented of stupidity and greed.
For the first time i really dont want ML with FL at all, all the shit the ML went through and get underapreciated its really boiling my feeling.
But the ending for me is really fitting and satisfied with it, the ending safed it to be honest.
Once again Namkoong carried the show here, damn his character here is jacked and dark, overall its good from the start till the end, just missing a villain that can match namkoong pace and charisma.
Namkoong really had an MC aura, he nailed every damn time, and this one included, he carried the show, overall drama is really good, the storyline and the plot is well made just too short, it can became a dexter from korea but it is what it is.
its watchable but feel flat, no surprise whatsoever, a bit boring and a little strugle to finish but decent. I dont know why it got that big score in mdl though.
I dont understand that some comment says ep 1 and 2 is boring and they are struggling while watching, for me literally every episode am laughing my ass off its that good.
Agreed with the early episode is slow paced and its alright, thats how you build a right world and character to make the viewer understand.
Its such a long time im finding a non romance kdrama this good and had such a likeable character especially the ML, there were a lot of plot for romance and it will be good to utilize it but thats just an option.
IF you are looking for some happy time and a good plot story, this is the one, it wont disappoint you.

Now continuing Season 2
Namkoong occasionaly breaking the fourth wall.
Once again fl and ml great chemistry like the veil.
Freaking great romance flashback thats better than most 16 ep kdrama.
Namkoong drama occasionaly using the cast from his before show.
The minus is just 12 eps is too short and rushed ending (but still stasifying).
The FL feels out of place nand to be honest doesnt really needed in the plot, i find rather annoying haha.
Overall show is great, its more of Politic and Pyschological war than techinal medical.
the chemistry of main is top notch but the fl cant kiss damn, she is cute and pretty though.
But the chemistry fl ann ml here is nice to see.
