For example, her sister NS, got better hair ornaments but even they said it looked too much Xianxia? Ji-man is a rare character as her character is set back in ancient times but she is very independent and wants to make her own money and not depend on the riches of her family. She knows lots of survival techniques and was a bookworm as a child. Set a great example to look up to. Not a lot of ancient Chinese drama has a character like that. So I agree she would have been more popular with better styling for sure.

Also, her character is strong-willed, well-liked, charming, and clever. I especially love the part where she had an art exhibit showcasing her "husband" art scroll and selling it for money to leave him. Genius I tell you!

Xiaofeng is the ceiling that everyone would want to be compared to none so far has been successful which is why the character will always be loved and a classic in many people's hearts especially those that had watched and loved the drama. Even passersby will stop to take a peek because she is that rare beauty that you can't help but stop and stare at. Wondering where has she been? On top of the beauty is the skill she had at her disposal. Playing a princess is easy but playing a princess with so much angst, love, and regret is hard to pull off and this was her first shot as the main fl.
