In the beginning the drama felt a little stiff to me. But the music and also the acting convinced me. Of course a lot of scenes kinda repeated itself. But the development of characters ist very nice to follow. It feels more natural then in a lot of dramas nowadays, where you always see girls or boys stick to one person, for a life long relationship (???) I mean, to think that there could be no other person to love in your life for some time...that's not very realistic. Think of your first love. I also liked how they portrayed the feeling of solidarity in an orchestra (have been in a choir for years) and the relationships between characters who are NOT the main leads :) And in fact, Kim Myung Min is the actor in The King of Dramas, one of my favorite dramas ever :)
I'm truly a big fan of Yoo Seung Ho and Kim So Hyun and I appreciate L' acting skills, so no complaints about acting, but.... in fact it's a 0815, like every one elses historical joseon drama for me yet. Didn't feel the chemistry either. It feels harsh, but my big expectations are a little disappointed now... I wished for more interesting characters, I mean, especially for the main leads.... Like you can't always be perfect and righteous you know? I wonder about the character of Hwa Gun...and I like Dae Mok a little. But Woo Boo wears a wig right? looks weird... I also really liked L's acting. Nearly all the acting...but if the story is poor... hm
Liked your post. I truly love Uhm Jung Hwas shows :) (Witchs Romance) Shes the generation of women rights maybe... Too many girls like to be the weak ones... that's a problem too. But if the media would change, maybe peoples minds would open to a strong womans image :) I'd like that.
I wrote a text in korean in my korean lesson. The teacher asked me if I think korean women are stupid. Of course they are not. But they are portrayed as dumb and powerless in korean dramas. What also annoyes me - what you pointed out too- is the lack of conversation between the leads. I really don't understand why they can't talk about things. Both men and women do everything behind the back of the other.
I think so too. The story didn't get boring and there were many twists in the later episodes too. Ha Seok Jin is so good looking by the way xD I really liked the story and the music. The acting was a little exaggerated sometimes (but that's normal for asian dramas, or maybe society?) and I don't really think the image of the jail was authentic reflected. Still the characters were well thought about and developing over time (like Joo Hee :) ) I really liked Mr. Tak from beginning to end. Anyone there too? :D
I have to say I loved this guy in Daughter Seoyoung. his Professor Choi was somehow just so cool and I loved the…
Haha, same goes for me. I watched God of Study but didn't recognize him in MDS: I'm watching it right now (around 30s ep.) and I really like his character :) Maybe he is the character I would like the most if this drama was reality :)
