People who watch this series need to keep in mind that this has a very complex cultural context. You need to remember that the characters are living in Thailand with Budha as their religion. I remember some people here questioning why Win cant give bottles to the monks n it has to be Korn, is that bcs he is in woman’s body? They considered it as awful thing. But turned out it’s a religion rule(cmiiw, i read on twitter from a thai fans that in Buddhism rule: a monk cant be close or touch woman). This is why we cant judge CLW in raw, do a research first before questioning things in a rude way. If you cant relate it since it’s not your cultures or religion, at least respect the other’s

I dont like their comment since it’s a body shaming and this place is supposed to be a review about series/movies not body critics.

Dont expect a flawless angelic main character of this series. Because the whole story is about a karma and a lesson for a bad person like Win and it’s make him more human isnt it? Since no human is as perfect as angels.

Win had anger issue and this whole bodyswap and adventure is a way to make him a better person. During the adventure he met monks who gave him relevant advices to Win and because of the trip Win realized that he was wrong for blaming Korn for what happened.

This series is about karma and lesson for a bad person like Win. So dont expect Win to be a flawless angelic character. He was made to be a bad person/character at the beginning of the story and people around him are aware that he is bad n hard to handle (his mother mentioned it in 1 of the episode that’s why you need to watch the series in full to understand this whole story and plot and DONT SKIP!).

I think the difference in cultures make people can’t catch and miss some main points of the story and how the characters behave. Example: when the mother said that she is conservative, korn agreed to the arranged marriage (eventho he is in love with win) to protect lin’s reputation as a woman because they travelled together. All of the things are true and happen in real life mainly in asian (or south east asian) families. Girls can not travel with boys unless they’re blood related or else they will be the talk of the town and the girls’ reputation is the one being damaged. What korn did is to protect lin’s reputation, particularly he and win took advantage of her body eventho they didn’t intend to do it.

It’s old fashioned but it really happen in real life n ppl consider it as common thing here. The reason why the mother said that lin go with korn for searching holy water is also because of the mother protecting lin’s reputation from the aunt. Even when their employees gossiped them, WinLin’s mom called Lin immediately to find out how Lin sleeping during the trip n Win has to lie to her n make a scenario in order for not getting caught

It’s annoying but it’s a common thing here and it’s really happen in real life. It’s a part of society

My understanding of this was that it was somewhat cultural/for Lin's reputation as "she" did travel around with…

I really don't understand why Korn was willing to marry Lin so easily just because win said no to him he knows…
Because korn felt bad for what they did in the cave (took advantage of lin’s body) eventho they didn’t intend it.

Pretty confused by this show, I liked it but it did not amaze me:-- I loved the body-swapping part and I still…
Answering your questions

why can't Win in Lin's body take the holy water from the monks? Women are considered unpure?
Answer: it’s not because of lin’s body but it’s because of win’s rude attitude when he was about to give the bottle to the monk. There is 1 scene when he is alone when he went to holy water 3 he is not with korn, he gave the bottle to the monk by himself.

-- why do I read in many places that EarthMix risked their life in doing this drama?
Answer:
1. Mix almost drowning when filming underwater scene. He already choked some water before the staffs help him. Earth couldn’t last 5 seconds holding his breath in the water.
2. In ep 6 when win in the beach, there’s lightning on the sky. It was real lightning and mix was still in the water continue to film the scene
