Title Marry My Husband: Japan Spoiler
Where to even start. I'll start with the good part (which is like 95% of it all): I really loved this version. Both the korean and japanese version has its charms, its strength and weakness too. I loved the cast a LOT, the chemistry was super nice betweet the FL and ML too! I love the differences between the 2 versions, there were many things I loved more in this version. Also they weren't afraid to be really nasty when it came to revenge. The visuals, the music, the pacing, it was all gorgeous. I even added 2 songs to my playlist!
It was nice watching this version with a fresh set of mind, even though I knew what will happen generally, I was still surprised time and time again. Absolutely a 9.5 drama for me!!
Very happy Wateru decided to pursue his dream!! Really adored the fact that he was much more laidback as time progressed and they spent a lot of time together. Tho I wish we could have seen more intimate scenes between them (more hugs/cuddles, more kisses, even just a simple implied part too)

However.. there were some parts I'm very dissatisfied with and all of them has to do with the last episode, especially the last half: I'm really not liking the idea of the huge time jump, like yes it was significant and whatnot, but I would have prefered if they started doing things much sooner, they got 10 years back after all. Reopening the shop only after 10 years for example.. could have happened sooner imo. Misa having her original hairstyle back (tied together and with the bangs) felt pretty sad, but that's just my personal opinion :D
I wish they proposed much much earlier - and I'm the type to love the slowburn, the slow pace. I just felt like the proposal should have happened at least years earlier.
Miku and Yuto's story should have gotten a bit more. Maybe Yuto asking Miku to go with him or just Miku saying she will wait or.. idk. Yes we see them together later (so we can assume they get together..?) but I wish they showed us more about them :(
The montage at the end was a bit lackluster for me.

Altho the "negative" seems to get a longer part in my comment, all of these are literally just the last half of the last episode, up until that point it's a 10/10 drama for me! For the ending tho I had to take half a star off.
Highly recommending this to everyone, so happy I decided to watch this one too!

Woah!! I really loved this. I won't mention anything spoiler, but I just wanted to say: I had my suspections, but it was for different reason than I thought it would be. I really enjoyed it a lot, the beginning was a bit slow to me, but afterwards I couldn't wait for the translation to arrive for each episode, I'm so glad I forgot to watch ep 4. when the sub wa sdone for it and now I could watch the last 2 episodes all together! I love the ending too, the last shot was very well done imo.

Thank you for the subber, I really enjoyed this drama a lot!!

Poting this comment again for those who just started/finished this series and are looking for similar dramas!

I saw them all but 2 series (ousama game and werewolf game series) and I enjoyed them a lot, hope everyone who are looking for something similar will find something to watch <3

- Incite Mill (movie)
- Judge (movie)
- Ousama Game
- Werewolf Game
- 12 Suicidal Teens (movie)
- Liar Game japanese and there is a korean remake too (this one is more lighter, it's a non deadly Squid Game basically)
- Me and 23 slaves (movie)
- Dokumushi (movie)
- As the Gods will
- Signal 100 (movie)
- 3 Nen A Gumi: Ima kara Mina-san wa, Hitojichi Desu
- Re:mind
- Re/member (movie)
- Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas
- Saiko no Kyoshi: Ichinengo, Watashi wa Seito ni Sareta (2023)
- Da Capo Shimasen ka?
- Girls in the Dark (movie)
- Bokura ga Koroshita, Saiai no Kimi

Obviously some are different but I would put it here bc either it's also a death game or a game they play for money/etc which is a lighter version.

Yes, exacrtly that!! As long as I get a happy ending (without the japanese version's complications) I'll be happy, even if they have to go through a LOT during it. It's just such a healing drama, I just want the best for them. Seeing them both work so hard for each other warms my heart and I hope the directors gonna go with a happy ending route!

OH I hope that's how it's gonna be!! If anything, Kihyun and his wife should be a perfect example of being able to be with each other, no matter what, 'simply' because they love each other (what Kihyun said in episode 6 if I remember well).

I wouldn't mind if they have conflicts, maybe they break up, think things through and end up together again after figuring out that they love each other too much to worry about these obstacles. I just don't want this to go the same route as the jp one.

I'm gonna be honest, while I do understand people who don't like the end, I personally liked it.
Sure it might be a reach and too many things you need to question/have an answer for, bc how did the kids all got there/how did they kidnap them all, unless they all decided to go to the place themselves, where the place is, what's the parents' reaction, how much time passed since the first game - since the mother mentioned they played this game countless times and only now Yoonseo won for the first time - altho they did say time passes differently in the game, wonder how exactly that works. In the game, one game consists of at least a week or 2 at max, I would say, so if they played this game even just a few times, that's already months of games - but what if it's just a few minutes/hours in real life?
I wish we got a lil more explanation for things, because I'm genuinely curious how this game works exactly.

I actually loved the very end, Yoonseo waking up, and now Jungwon isn't her friend, but just a classmate, I bet the parents tried to override the successful awakening of Yoonseo with putting Jungwon just as a classmate.
Honestly I would love to see a 2nd season where Yoonseo keeps her memories and keeps trying to get people to win but keeps falling for a few times before she is able to save everyone/most of them, at least. Wonder what would happen if most of them would win - would the parents let them go?
I could imagine the game being like.. Yoonseo always going back with Junhee until they can all save everyone and also make people realize just how shitty they are/were to Seeun.

ALSO I wonder.. if Yoonseo opened that gift box at the very beginning.. would the game be so much more different? It's interesting that in this game Jungwon probably already left all the memories/solution for her at the beginning, I wonder what was so different about *this* Jungwon than the previous ones..
Love the little details they left for us to suspect a loop, like Yoonseo questioning if she was at that place before.

Again, I totally understand those who are not satisfied with the ending, but I really enjoyed it, and the whole series too. I just wish I could see a game with Yoonseo knowing everything and trying to solve things, especially now that Jungwon doesn't seem to be her friend at all.

To me it's a 10/10 drama, with flaws ofc. I just think it's super entertaining, to me at least, loved the game and the twists, even the ending too.
Without bias, I would still give this a solid 8/10!

I was pretty sure Nahee was the Police, bc when Yoonseo was treating Junhee's injuries and he left, leaving Yoonseo alone, she saw the bottle of iodine (? I'm sorry I don't know the correct term, basically you use it to treat wounds) all messy, which was the same used on the wall to write "Junhee = Citizen". Now, the person who frequent the infirmary room the most is Nahee.
I was just waiting for my theory to be confirmed, and I'm so happy they did. I just hope they'll finally vote out Somi because I really can't deal with her annoying ass any more.
And also hoping the mafia won't be able to kill Nahee bc of this.. she and the others needs to survive.

I was also thinking that Jungwon might be the host, but now I'm suspecting she is the Mafia, I knew there must be at least one more Mafia besides Somi and Dabeom, but this episode made sure of this now, and I don't really suspect the 2 guys, altho one of them can be, especially the chubby guy, Yeonwoo, bc when Somi and Mina was confronted by them about the keys, he made sure to lead the convo to the food at the end, maybe to help Somi get off of the suspicion?
Then again, this could be just a simple convo where Yeonwoo would just think about the food rather than suspecting them being Mafias.

We shall wait, I'm so excited for the remaining 3 episodes!
