It is...kind of homophobic, because you can obviously tell the screen writers didn't really know what to write…
Thanks for your reply! Discussing art is great when we all respect each other. Like someone said is very heartstopper like and this washy is understandable to dont be everyone cup of tea (i myself only got interested to watch the first season. But i felt genuine from the show, not like other dramas ike High School Return of a Gangster for example.

I saw more like the story is not about the couple but Heesu himself. If Heesu become together with Seung WOn before i would feel that the all resolutions of this story was solved, because since episode 1 we see the focus of confessing your feeling to your crush. Usually i dont like dramas of straight romance, but i liked Ji Yu and Ju Chan, i like to see them as a counterpart of the main couple, it shows for me how is hard queer couples and get out of closet compared with queer couples.
Also thank you for your kind reply, discussing different points of view whitout being obnoxious and rude is really difficult on internet.
We’re reacting to what was presented. We saw homophobia. You saw "queer art." And I believe that’s the nuts…
Why your reply is so full of anger? The bar low? The show is about heesu coming with the terms with his own sexuality, the show is around him. From the firsr episode we see the show is about confession, but is different if your queer, is harder.
I almost didnt saw this drama because of the majority of bad comments, glad i did because i loved. Didnt read the webtoon, i guess people are critizing not what they saw but what they wanted to see. To say that this show is homophobic is nuts, is a really beautiful piece of queer art.
Each episode of study group i am smiling from ear to ear and cheering every time Hood or Backpacker start to play at the fight scenes, i am enjoying every second of it
First episode got me hocked, a perfectionist nerd who wants to control everything and a free spirited guy that everyone loves. Loved the idea of him manipulating the nerd to live in his house because he knows he likes him... BUT now i'm on episode 3 and the guy wants to change himself completely...even making a tattoo on his face for a person he barely knows??? if the actors was not good looking and the drama have this light hearted feels, this could be a horror drama
Thank you! Omitting that kiss made the movie much better all by itself. The drama had more Queen songs, which…
True! like the story was about Jun accepting himself by who he is, that is nothing wrong with his sexuality but then making him kiss a girl go against what the movie's message
Watched the first episode and absolutely loved, the characters, the setting, then i went to watch episode 2..... I was also loving it...until the part that he was trying to kill himself by fighting and challenging everyone...and beating everyone, i feel more like watching an SNL sketch. The third episode preview look like will continue this idea, not so excited to continue watching the show, but who knows.
I liked a lot the drama and the movie, but i think the movie did some things better, specially Miura, i felt that Miura's movie version see Jun more empathic, also the final kiss from the drama was kinda weird and disrespectful towards Jun's character. The movie is also good in showing the empty way that some Bls deal with LGBTQIA+ like some fictional character from a faraway land and not like an actual character with feelings and personality.
Why should he lower his standards? Just because they people he mentioned are popular doesn't mean he isn't worthy…
because they are the top good looking people of south korea, is like saying your type is super models, they are everybody's type, and is fine but if you only date if they are super models you will date anyone.
Jeonghyeon is fun and charismatic but saying his type is Cha Eun Woo, Woo Da hwan, Kim woo bin... he is handsome but need to lower his standards lol, also kinda snob sometimes.
Eun chan is funny and had good reactions
Changyu was really bold and brave to choose the guy his sharing bed with.
The others doesnt have much to say right now, personalitywise.
is nice to see good represenation in SK, really glad with this show and merry queer, not like straight guys playing lgbtqia+ (with is also important and good) but actually lgbtqia+ people having highlights.
I'm having a lot of mixed feelings about this show, i loved the characters, the concept, the universe, but the execution is not good. The "solutions" to avoid the cases suicides like changing the past, saying a line or two, the lovers who will always meet each others, etc. i don't like that all solutions are basically using magic, is not about making the person deal with their problems is about making them go away. Episode 6 barely deals with suicide, i was enjoying until become so dramatic and patriotic, the grim reapers threating like his death was more special than others because he was a soldier, they deal with all kinds of people and deaths, and about the other soldiers who died in war? what makes one person have a special treatment and other don't? they supposed to be more cold but they deal death worse then mortals.
