Have you watched until ending? 👀 [SPOILER] Junichi mention that Makiko will not let Naoto takes the blame and going to jail. But before the detective mention that finding the gun will resolve Junichi trauma, Makiko dead-set on hiding it until the end, regardless Naoto goes to jail or not. She only hesitate because she found out about Junichi trauma. She did takes Naoto affection for granted in my opinion because she gets help from him from time to time without reciprocation (yes even her salon).
Also for Keisuke, she only feels that being married is good, she do it for convenience not love, and even after Junichi comes back she still string Keisuke along even though she has feeling for Junichi.
The only thing that is good about Makiko is that she only does that because she thought they are still available (except Junichi, because even when she knows Junichi lives with a girlfriend she keeps calling him at night, i feel like that one time she also hope for a sexual comfort but Junichi doesn't give it).
It's not that Makiko experience pitiable, just we can't really say she is not manipulative because she is a victim.

I bring JBZ in the case because I see viewer react in extremely different of two cases of hiding secret.
When MY keeps secret, viewers bashing her that if she was honest JBZ will give the GMD and she will be cured. When JBZ keeps secret, viewer appreciate that JBZ sacrifice for love.
But even if MY tell the truth, her choice will still be stuck on how JBZ hiding his secret. It doesn't matter if she tells the truth or not, she doesn't know that JBZ still needs GMD. If she knows, her choice would be that she will also never takes GMD from JBZ and force him to consume it.
The case is the same for me in the case that both doesn't want the other so sacrifice for themselves. If you thought that for both case MY is the only beneficiary then we will never have the same page. What's the point of MY being alive if she has to sacrifice JBZ for it? She has put her life on the line for JBZ so many times but the viewer still think that JBZ sacrifice is more touching.

I'm bashing people who thinks that MY hiding her secret is stupid but then proceed to appreciate JBZ hiding things. JBZ and MY are both the same oh willing to die for each other and I never have to defend JBZ about hiding the truth because no one bashing him for it. I feel like viewer should be able to appreciated both of their great love, but the viewer has double standard when viewing ML and FL.
I just hate that people downplay Ming Yi's love for JBZ after she risk her life over and over again just because she is hiding the truth. The fact that she is Ming Xian or the fact that she is poisoned are both hers to share or not. And whether she dies or live is the consequences of her action, but viewer seems to be entitled to her choice.
Now that JBZ will be the one need GMD and hides it, it becomes his deep love for Ming Yi and for some reason it's okay that he doesn't tells the truth.

Personally, I never see her being rude to STL. If it's intended to be reverse harem then being kind to him will their relationship ambiguously romantic. For me the pace is good, not too much filler, and everything build up nicely and I can't wait to watch what happen next. But some people find it too slow when the plot started to picked up from episode 5, so it depends on personal taste.
All of the actors are feasts on the eyes, main characters acting are superb, supporter actors acting are believable, no weird voice acting that doesn't match the characters, and no bad visual effect from what I remember. BGM is a bit monotone for me, I only remember 3 songs but it won't make me drop the series.
Most important is that It's good if you are okay the protagonists kept secret from each other but still showing each other that they love each other throughout the plot, otherwise you might feel frustrated most of the time.
