why you care of a obsessed 2ml ? in many cdrama...they are selfish and annoying with a ridiculous obsession for…
At least he had played his roles in the past that has his own merit and has not caused huge essential problem, so I still hope that he was given second chance to turn back
Hopefully he doesn't hide it from Ming Yi or we back to square one again -_-
It's the same case as with how MY lies for JBZ for me, because Ming Yi knows the recipe for GMD now. She is still thinking she is not cured and thought she has no future. If JBZ told her the truth that his GMD was given to her and his own poison is not cured yet, MY will work harder to make the GMD. I know she also thinks JBZ life is more important than hers. They are both the same, likes to tortures us viewer π
I hope Situ Ling comes to his sense, forget Ming Yi, kill his father, ascend to the throne and the country change from evil country to a good one. Amen π
I do not understand this, Bo ppl made the Heavenly grief and the golden millet dream. Then they destroyed everything…
Talking about it with modern comparison, if a pharmacy company research something, then found miracle drugs after spending they private resources, they will apply patent to the government division, which will protect them, so that when someone wants to produce the drug, they can go cooperates with the company for the split benefit. If they give away the recipe to the public, most of the time the company will go bankrupt because their resource was exhausted after the research without returned value (sales, cooperation, etc)
In the Bo Clan case, I think it is justified for them to not make the recipe public, until at least their clan become prosperous. But before that happens, the neighbor kingdom knows about it first and suddenly attack the whole clan to monopolize the recipe. It's like in the modern sense that the foreign company stole the result of years of research and kill every researcher in explosion to cover it up so that the information is not spread.
From that fact, I'm sure if the Bo Clan aware that the neighbor kingdom covets their recipe, at least they will go to their King for protection, using the medicine as exchange for their lives, so I don't think the Bo Clan knows the research is leaked to that evil kingdom before being razed to the ground.
I'm the only one who like the pacing and the storyline
+1 from me!! The pace kept me anticipate things from episode 1 and never once I am disappointed of what happened in the plot. I feel like the drama makes so many balanced roles that supports each other story, even Mu Qibai and Situ Ling is completing their own part to get the two main characters get together!! Without Mu Qibai, Ming Yi will still on the Moonlight Blossom looking for opportunity, and without Situ Ling, Ming Yi will just die sooner π maybe before completing the Heart Binding Array
is Ming Xian in her prime stronger than Ji Bo Zai? spoiler please!!
Yes!! It was also mentioned in the episode 1 that Min Xian was dragged to Ji Bozai Spirit Well (or domain? I forget), that's why he can fight with her equally. It's one of his skill so it is not cheating, but Min Xian is a master of forging too, so it doesn't mean that even though her power was suppressed in the Spirit Well she can't win. The problem is that the Heavenly Grief suddenly takes effect which cause her to not be able to use her spiritual vein, thus makes her lose the match. But from what I understand, Ming Xian is stronger outside his Spirit Well.
idk but there were significant hints here and there many times, the way she had to live in an illusion of a boy…
I understand that!! It's just that implied means that the viewer still just guessing without evidence, showing it directly will confirm that it was like that, no more guessing.
She is the female lead, shouldn't we shown her back story for a bit even though we already guessing it? For example, we all understand at first that Yan Xiao was just a guard that raise through connection, and we confirmed that it was indeed Hanfeng that helped him to get his current position, which make him not being bullied anymore.
We only get narrative from Ming Yi in episode 1 that she can only win, and we can see that after she loses, she lost it all. But we never know what happen to her before, why did she push herself so hard to win, when she have never actually lost before. Is it really because of external pressure, or was she was just too self righteous (just an example for one)? The viewer still need to confirm it by being shown at least a few minutes of flash back
I just can't understand why they can't tell the back story of Ming Xian until episode 21?? π *Netflix watcher
Even Situ Ling and 27 has more flash back than her at least for a few minutes for why they do the way they do??? We are watching from Ming Yi current POV but never know her historical past, does it even make any sense??
Watching this actually doesn't make me anxious at all even with the angst. They started with deception, both lies to each other, but at the same time they show that they are loyal to each other. I like that the possessive Ji Bozai won't let Ming Yi go. It quells my anxiety of them part ways.
Ji Bozai : I trust you π₯° Ming Yi : fail stealing GMD Ji Bozai : How could you do this to me?? π‘ Ming Yi : *running away feeling guilty* Ji Bozai : *caught her back* Who said you can run away from me? π€
Came here to rant bc what do you mean at this point when he finds out her real intentions she STILL chose to lie…
Sharing my point of view, It still make sense because her only goal was to go back being useful God of War Ming Xian. I saw that she only will treat all of her experience and feelings from Jinxing Abyss as a dream. The dream will ends and she will go back to reality. Either she fails and die or success and live, I think she never thought about staying at Jinxing Abyss with Jo Bozai because of how she was raised from birth to only win the tournament.
I think it's a subconscious that at that point she feels telling Zhang Tai would be safe, while she can't yet predict what telling Ji Bozai would cause.
This comment section just got me reminded of our judgemental society towards women again.without Ming yi, JBZ…
Yes, people also gloss over how Ji Bozai is also still hiding things from Ming Yi because we the viewer also only know it after Ming Yi knows and then suddenly nobody talking about what Ji Bozai is hiding. After all this time we only knows what Ming Yi is hiding things but we don't know what Ji Bo Zai is hiding. Such as things about the antidote. Can I also safely say that Ji Bozai lies about GMD? But nobody bashing him because we all know his sad back story and can be empathetic, while everyone bashing Ming Yi while not able to empathize with her. I kinda start to think that it's gender issue at this point.
After seeing Ep 24 preview this is another cdrama where the ML forgives the FL easily
It's actually has been shown before, even when Ji Bozai was betrayed by that pair of mother and son, he even chose to forgive them even though he was then beaten and live worse than death. He never even thought about revenge to the mother and son. Ji Bozai is more empathetic than all of people watching the drama combined π
But in the case with Ming Yi, rather than forgiving, I think he is more of a hopeless romantic, doing anything and everything so that he can be with the one he loves, so from what I see he kind of forgives Ming Yi for himself too. And who knows, maybe from an immortal perspective that lives forever, emotional damage is not one of important problem by default because (they think) they have forever to resolve it π
Y can't ming yi understand hiding is more painful n deceiving n her death is more painful to ml? Y can't she grasp…
She really doesn't understand. It was shown in the episode 20 that she believe that he is a cold and decisive person that will easily moves on after he found out that she is still lying. And from what I see even herself is scared of that possibility where Ji Bozai moves on from her. She is really the case of have IQ but questionable EQ π
