-The Lee family lied to her on multiple occasions about the relationship between her son and DR. -DR told her she was approaching her son for money but she snapped out of it and she wouldn't pursue him anymore, guess what? A few eps later she finds her in his room.
IDk why some of us are fixated on the money even though that issue appears at the end of the show. If anything blame ML for not handling the issue well. This is just a classic rich man/poor woman done wrong.
I would have also wished that he would react differently here and there, but his Heart is in the right place.…
Up until the money incident she was crying and fighting with her sister over sml. Even during the money recovery mission, she said she doesn't like him yet so how she liked him before that?
I don't understand where all the hate towards JY is coming from. I have seen other dramas where Mothers/Mothers-in-law would go above and beyond to ruin people's lives but I didn't see her doing any of that here. We know she is bad/evil because she is money-hungry, her son keeps reminding us how evil she is and that's pretty much it. She didn't become active in the drama until 30+ ep for all the right reasons ( betrayal from her son).
Now the Lee family, "I will rob a bank for my loved ones if that's what it takes" That's all fun and games until you're expected to follow through, something along the lines of " and do the time". Now it's debatable if they stumbled upon the money by accident or they witnessed a criminal burying it and then "borrowed" the money from the criminal. I think at some point along the show they accepted the money as theirs. They didn't plan to make anything right and got bailed by GJ time and time again.
The funny thing is the same events would've occurred even if the money wasn't hers (JY).
