I feel the same. La El clearly has more feelings for Yoon Gyeom then Eun Pyeong. Like even after he confesses to her, she didn't even give him a second thought and she wasn't very affected by it. Their chemistry will improve if La El shows more affection to him.

Like someone mentioned, the female villains are usually given the role of ex-girlfriend or evil mother in law and therefore their roles are written less romanticized then male villains. Some well written female villains (in my opinion) comes from 'A Korean Odyssey' and 'The Great Seducer'.
