Might be because CSB was playing her but I actually liked Dan-ah throughout the show. Indeed, it was better than expected for me as well; I thoroughly enjoyed it :)

Became a fan of Chae Soo Bin after finishing I’m Not A Robot, and just finished The Rebel; loved her characters in both of them. Came across this as I was looking for more of her dramas to watch, but the comments about her character in this drama make me hesitant to start :/
