I'm so happy i was there and got to see her and listen to the Q&A. By chance i found out about the festival and bought 1 ticket for the closing gala. She is amazing! <3
I got to see Yu Ning acting in The Long Ballad, a drama which i will always love and his character was one of the most captivating. By the 3rd episode i started to check more about him and I found out he sang the OST for Love and Redemption and it's one of my favourite OST songs ever. He is amazing, really. I wish him the best and to find a partner who can love and appreciate him properly.
Hopefully the last ep (49) will be released this coming Monday, too and you don't have to wait for the following…
Cho Na, you are a precious human being and thank you very much for your reply <3 I became slightly obsessed with Liu Yu Ning and his voice because of the OSTs and then with his acting because of Hao Du. He sang for Love and Redemption (which will forever be one of my favourite costume dramas and the beginning of 'stalking' Cheng Yi) and also for Word of Honor and I love both songs so much that I listen to them daily. Zhou Shen is amazing: I listened to one song and became a fan. His voice is magical, really. I started watching Asian dramas in 2006: it all began with Japanese dramas, then branched into Korean ones a few years later and The Untamed was my first Chinese drama in 2019. Since then I fell hard down this rabbit hole and I cannot stop (and I don't want to stop to be honest). I love Mydramalist because it helps me keep organised as unfortunately I fly from one series to another faster than I can blink, then i come back to watch them until the end. Still, there are some that I don't stop until I finish them and it hurts when they're ongoing and I can watch only a few episodes per week as it happened with all my favourite ones as I started watching them when they were ongoing. I should stop here...I'm writing a novel now. Sorry :P

I liked it. No, scratch that. I loved it from the beginning until the end. First time seeing Leo, Dilraba and Yu Ning and i felt sorry i didn't see any other dramas with them. The OST is one of my fav ever and then i began searching for more songs sang by these singers. What can i say more that you both didn't already mention? I never thought i would have a fav article, but now i found it^^ Good job, guys!
Don't know about others, but I loved it from beginning 'til the end. It made me laugh so many times and their friendship made me miss my friends so bad!
i just started sub the drama, i hope someone doesn't beat me at the punch.
@Jenna I just watched Guilty of Mind on your Facebook page. Loved it. Thank you for subbing it. I cannot wait for you to sub FW as well (no pressure here).
I watched Noble Aspirations, both seasons, and loved Li Yi Feng and now I'm on a quest to watch his movies and dramas. I really appreciate your work.
Loved it. Laughed, cried and loved the mains and their friends to the bits. Bai Mo is so smol and damn special and i was simply endeared by his character: loyal, caring, protective and everything you'd want from a friend.
Thank you. I finally got to watch their happy ending. Why did I cry again although it's a good ending? I guess i liked all of them so much I'm glad they're happy now.
Beautiful article. I started watching it because i kept seeing post on my friend's Facebook wall (and her beautiful crochet characters from Untamed) and i gave it a go. I helped my life easier after i just moved in a big city (London), where i could see my only friend only if i was awake past midnight, and starting anew at a completely different job from the ones i had before. It helped me in more ways than one and i still watch clips from it until this day, the gorgeous songs (the live duets make me emotional every time i watch them), behind the scenes or different interviews with the cast. The fanvideos dedicated to it with scenes from it are brilliant as well.
Like you said, people can feel free to disagree with your opinion or mine and want their hours back (why would you watch all episodes if you decided you don't like it? I'll never understand this), but i'll forever remember it as it was one of the few things that helped me when times weren't too pleasant.
As for Xue Yang: so many of the actors actually auditioned for his part and would like to try a character like his. For me, I felt conflicted every time i saw him: i wanted to give him the love he needed but also kill him slowly for the hurt he gave others.
How similar is this to Chief Kim? Because I love Chief Kim and I've had this recommended as being both similar…
I watched both and they're a bit similar as in they show the office life, struggles, overcoming obstacles, side characters which are well done, just to mention a few. Both are amazing, but for different reasons. While I love Chief Kim for the humour, amazing cast and not a moment of being bored, I love Misaeng for reminding me of how I was when I was working in a bank and bits and pieces of how I am now. It's the definition of Slice of life really. I love it so much!
She is amazing! <3
Definitely a rewatch and will recommend it to all my friends.

I am sure I will miss it so much :(

Just finished the first episode and i'm already so scared i don't know how i'll be able to fall asleep.
At the same time i'm itching to binge watch this the whole night as i'm pretty sure i will have nightmares anyway.

Thank you for writing this so beautifully!
