My biggest takeaway is that for the first time we did not get one dimensional characters all were layered, and I mean all. We felt the pain of loosing our feng battallion brothers. We felt the pain of the PM and his dead son, we felt the grief of the elderly marquis when he discovered his son was so far astray,we saw a crazy tyrant genuinely changed by love and reedem himself at the end he was true to himself until the end, we almost coughed up blood when they were putting again a few more holes into Sui Ge and seeing him betrayed like for the 1,000th time😑 when he was being buried we held our breath until a super minor character Ru Yan,the MVP of episode 28. Only this drama would have a minor character have this role, ran to find Yi Xiao and we breathed again when Yi Xiao uncovered him. I believe this cast enjoyed working with each other very much and it showed. They all played off each other very well i saw that they all went all out with their acting. I cried when the tablets were shown and when Sui Ge finished punching Murong Yao wow i felt that scream of all the pent up betrayal and grief. There was no senseless killing and we got a glimpse to the inner regrets and hopes of all these characters. The one who started all of this Xia Jinshi, the trophy for the most Cowardly Villain I have ever seen goes to him, no reedeming quality in his character. Never felt sorry for him. There was absolutely nothing to respect about him. I have to close with something I though was so 🤣 When Sui Ge and his Scooby Gang arrived at Feng Battalion, and he was like "bros, we are all putting are weapons down" Meanwhile my girl Yi Xiao was like😑 "Na ah , whose putting their weapon down??? Been there done that, you will have to pry this bow and arrows out of my dead cold fingers"
