Cheng Lei does the "in love" face so convincingly if i was Zhou Ye I would have folded in a second tbh.

Lot of people have different opinions on this but personally for me I genuinely enjoyed this, and I love a drama with great chemistry between the main leads.

I honestly loved Cheng Lei in LOTFG so wanted to tune in to this. But I saw a preview of his character torturing the FL in this drama and that was very off putting for me. Contrary to the popular opinion I hate toxic MLs :) Based on the reviews maybe I'll consider this drama later.

The story line is quite unique and i love the FL flirting + flustered ML trope it's very refreshing!! So far I am invested let's see how it goes.

Although ZY is thin and petite she portrays the role of a general really well with her actions and expressions. Kudos to her for delivering such a cute and confident character flawlessly.

Watched TLOTFG because of Zhou Ye but now I am obsessed with Cheng Lei too. Their chemistry is insane and his eye acting is the best I have seen in a while!!

The best thing about this drama is it makes you love "love", it makes you want to fall in love even if you don't believe in it and they have presented it in the most aesthetically pleasing + realistic way

when i watched the trailer i was a little worried that Cheng Lei would just be a pretty face with stoic expressions but damn I am pleasantly surprised by his micro expressions and eye acting so much so that i think i am slowly falling for him

The chemistry between the ML and the FL is on another level

The person who choreographed the fight scenes deserve a raise cause it's mesmerizing to watch them

Fr! While i think the ML did a good job he mainly had to just do the yearning but the FL expressed 101 emotions really well so I wish people give her more credit.

So far i like the storyline and the directing is really beautiful. I love the ML and the FL individually but i do agree that right now their chemistry is a bit lacking but there is still more than half of the story to go so let it slowly develop. If you are hesitating to watch it i say give it a try because it is quite interesting.

I have seen literally everyone talking about the ML but for me FL steals the spotlight with her acting and beauty.
