I agree I would be all kinds of petty to an ex that ghosted me and then wanted to pretend like he didn’t know me(when they first saw each other MK said YJ acted all formal toward him using Korean honorifics) it pissed MK off you can tell. YJ had this glazed smile on his face when he saw MK kind of like Oh I’m screwed. YK then preceded to run around absolutely panicked about having to get their story straight and tell people. What I think YJ was trying to avoid MK filling the men in on what an asshole he was to him ie. ruin his reputation. I don’t blame MK in the least by his snide remarks and poking the bear a bit. If YJ had nothing to hide these remarks and actions wouldn’t be getting to him so badly🤷‍♀️

I liked the trailer and think this series will be a hit. They are trying to replicate MSP to an extent so maybe the formula is for two talented unknowns in main leads. Will just have to wait and see and you should stop making baseless accusations against two 18 year old kids!!

Pine thinks of her as a little sister, they all do except for Krist’s character who I think is in love with her and Pine knows it that’s why he keeps sending him off to “take care” of her😉

I disagree I am enjoying this series and it’s far from garbage in my opinion. The production value is high, the acting ranging from OK to great(Nanon) and the OST slaps. The stories have been interesting so far. I like how it seems 2-3 episodes are centered on each member of the Jungle with a paired female character. Speaking of the female cast they have all been good not push overs or eye candy which I thought they may be at the beginning. What I like the most is this show is not as lakornny(?real word) as a lot of GMMtv non BL’s have been. My friends and I were even thinking this could be great on Netflix it has that vibe. Last that OST-The beast inside with the whole jungle is a banger still in my head Nanon’s rap is chef’s kiss😊Oh and Mix overseeing all the shenanigans as the Hunter❤️

As with many of Jojo’s projects this series is aimed to be an LGBTQ drama as opposed to a BL therefore more emphasis on realistic characters in extreme circumstances. In the case of Only Friends those circumstances are sexual. Also I guess GMMtv wanted there to be some romance and my guess that will fall to the Mew/Top(Force/Book) storyline. I disagree with the notion that the sex scenes will be gratuitous just for sake of sensationalism as you seem to be saying. I think they will be needed for adding to the realism of the story. Fluffy BL’s with chaste kissing are abundant so I probably wouldn’t stress myself out by watching this with all those NC scenes. If you seem to think it’s almost pornographic just from the trailer then maybe this isn’t for you🤷‍♀️

When have we ever seen in any Thai BL anyone get mental health professional help. The only one I remember was Don’t Say No when Fiat went to a therapist and his abusive mother went to a psychiatric facility. Therapy does not seem to be a big thing in Thailand so probably it will be King’s love that cures Uea 🤷‍♀️

For a show you claim to LOVE you really found nothing of value in the Jim/Wen storyline??Not into LGBTQ adult relationships but fixated on the antsy teenage romance. Earth and Mix did exceptional with their roles and I thought their story was not BL but a LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 adult relationship the BL part was Heart/LiMing . So maybe that’s why you didn’t like it more into boy ❤️

Looking back on the episode I can see that it’s probably the wrong take about Tinn’s mother being upset that he likes boys. Hopefully you’re right and she’s upset that she doesn’t know him like she thought she did. Anyway I was probably too ready to believe she may be homophobic because I don’t like her character much. In comparison Gun’s mom is the greatest 😊

It’s the character’s making a big deal about a kiss. The Thai teenager’s saying we will kiss when you win Hotwave or when at least when it’s over. Kissing the forehead, cheeks and hands but not the lips except thru a notebook. So I don’t think it’s as you think an expectation of Western audience wanting a kiss scene. The show has made the characters think it’s such a big deal that they have ridiculously delayed it. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the very last shot of them in the finale.

Well in my opinion this episode is a disappointment and has broken the streak of each new episode being better than the last. From the first unnecessary fake out of a Hot Wave win I knew this is a return to the dreaded cursed episode. The episode to me was overly long, sad and belaboured the lost/loser motif. The song was OK. The thing that bothered me the most was Tinn’s mother wandering around all anxious and upset that her bad parenting had, God Forbid, made her son like boys😮oh the horror!!
Also it’s beyond ridiculous now that they have not kissed💋

I think that the explanation makes perfect sense and I’m not Korean even. If JungWoo was emotional mess about Choco leaving do you think he would have gone? He was calm to make Choco believe he would be alright. He waited until he got back to his apartment to break down after he’d seen Choco and Milk off.

I never watch a BL drama based off of what is said here!! I find MDL is so overtly negative, about almost every BL, that I get very annoyed, hence I don’t come here very often anymore. Sad because it’s a really good site for background on a series actors, running time and where to watch. That’s about it rarely read comments or take the rating seriously. Just watch what you like and don’t let the comments influence you!! 😊

Ugly?? That is quite harsh. After what happened to this actor in making 2 moons 2, I am quite glad to see him in another series. Also I think the character is meant to be a little stiff and conservative. I actually find Earth quite handsome as all the cast are. Just my opinion.

Why should he have to prove it to you. He went to hospital and reported it to the police also had 2 people with him who witnessed it. Because of Jussy Smolett is every assault against LGBTQ+ individuals questioned as a PR stunt? Sad😢
