Title Tawan Arb Dao Spoiler
I agree with you. Looks like the writers failed to shift the sympathy of the viewers to the characters who really…
Exactly, according to Mek Wat planned to marry Pim. So it didn't make any sense to me that he broke up with Pim just because May told him something wothout evidence. That was really bad writing here.

I was surprised by the things Wat had done because his mother and Korn made him seem like a saint. Hell, even…
I think that’s why I struggle with Siwats character build-up. We only see him through the eyes of other people - his family & Aunt Chor. We never see exactly how he really was. I mean most of his screentime are imaginations from Korn anyways so I don’t feel like they are reliable. And of course, Aunt Chor only sees how good he treated her because (at least in the beginning) he was paid for it. Wat was definitely a shitty boyfriend and more greedy than people expected him to be but I felt like everything was rushed in the end we were just left with “So this happened off-screen, deal with it!” But I agree with your points, it’s just that I hoped for more insights from Wat instead of handling it like they did.

Yeah, the Pim part was a fiasco. She could have had such a great plotline - if they just put more effort in the built-up. I mean she called Wat in the night he died and no one ever questions it after she explained that he called her first. This could have been great but it was actually a letdown in the end.

I think that Aunt Chor loved Wat in the only way she knew - and that being said I don’t think she was able to have a healthy relationship. In my humble opinion, it was lust, refuge and obsession she felt for Wat. In a world where everyone was seemingly out to get her, she seems to want to rely on someone. But their relationship was toxic from the very beginning. It was more like a bubble to me. And yes, Wat refused to hand over the clip, but then again I thought the clip itself was weirdly placed in this whole drama. In the beginning, I thought the clip was a decoy for the real deal, but well, it wasn’t. And even here we get told that Wat fell in love with Aunt Chor and refused to hand over the clip instead of showing us. Instead of spending time to make Korn blind, we could have spend more time on deeper character development for Wat - the reason why this whole revenge even started!

Yes, I mean Pim deserved her ending but I do kind of see where she was coming from. She was going too far but Siwat did indeed hurt her a lot.

Is it weird that I feel more sympathetic for Pim than I do for Wat? In a really weird way I understand her feelings, though she was really cruel and did horrible things it seems to me that Siwat was also a rather unlikable person. I know that they tried to paint him grey rather than black or white characterwise but maybe it's because we saw so little of him I can't help but feel his character was all over the place. And even if I felt some sympathy for Aunt Chor she was also a not very good person. And I found it super weird that they made it seem like it was one true love between Aunt Chor & Siwat at the end. Again, maybe I feel this way because we didn't really get to see the real Siwat and a lot of things apparently happened off-screen but the last episode felt so random to me on so many levels. I mean I suspected Daos dad for a long time and also suspected the nurse to be Pim but it felt like the writers suddenly wanted to bring us to a certain conclusion when there wasn't a real build-up for it? Maybe I'm just missing one episode completely from Siwats pov because for now they seem all messed up and pretty much got karma coming for them.

Anyways, enjoyed the first 10 episodes, then it got draggy and repetitive. The reveal of the mastermind was taking too long and it was a bit messy here and there.
I'll give it a 6.5, mainly because of Aunt Chor acting, the first 10 solid episodes and for Dao being a strong independent FL.

What I liked about the romantic scene in Ep 11 is that it was not forced- although it looks like Thien started…
It was so funny though that he told her to "rape" him and she was like "No, that's illegal!" And he was like "But I'm okay with it" :D I think Mark & Mew are doing a terrific job here! They have great chemistry and honestly, if one of them would be bad at portraying their characters I wouldn't enjoy it this much. Hopefully they can work together again in the future - and hopefully Mews marriage doesn't mean she is going to slowly dissappear... And yes, this "rape thing" in lakorns is so common that you cannot trust anyone. I remember when I first saw a lakorn where the ML raped the FL and I was seriously wondering how the hell they could end up together.

Yeah, me too. I don't want to waste that much time on Yada & Pon Det. I also think someone will get hurt - but I hope there will be no memory loss...
Now that you listed it, there is still so much to do. KhaoFang will be shocked when she realizes that all her effort was useless and actually backfired. Plus the fortune teller in the earlier episodes has fortold Thien&Muey that Muey may be the first to fall in love in this relationship but when Thien falls for Muey she will be the one in power - I need to see this! :D

What I liked about the romantic scene in Ep 11 is that it was not forced- although it looks like Thien started…
I think if we had spent another episode with Thien planning a wedding without telling Muey that he wants to spend his life (and his next life <3) with her, I would have cursed him out! Actually this is a perfect example of how little real love experience he has. He had no idea why Muey wanted a divorce - all she needed to hear from him was that he loved her. But it took 11 episodes and a bunch of male admirers (I found these scenes hilarious, by the way) until he could finally tell her what she needed to hear. And yes, after watching the preview for episode 11 I also had a bad feeling. It just would have ruined everything if he'd forced himself on her. Thank god they didn't go this way (you never know in lakorns...)

We knew that Pon Det would reappear but I hope that his part will pass quickly and that he will go to prison. And Yada should find her own happiness. I don't think she was really in love with Thien - she wanted to be saved and that's not necessary anymore. I hope she lives her own life now that she's free. Hopefully they don't drag this out - I want more Muey & Thien scences <3

Exactly! I was so worried when he forced her to drink because it was so out of character for Thien. But I'm glad that his initial plan of letting her "rape" him failed and that they confirmed their feelings for each other before it happened. And thank god he finally told her that he loves her! After telling everyone but her I was starting to get annoyed :D

Thien is going to regret it, if he can't admit that he is in love with Muey. I do get that it's difficult for him - we kind of know that he doesn't believe in love so I guess this is a completely different and unknown situation for him - but he is also overconfident that Muey is not giving up on him at some point.

Anyways, loved the chemistry in this weeks episodes. Episode 9 was definitely the better episode though. We finally get to see some glances at Thiens heart.

I love Mew as Muey and Mark is doing a good job as Thien. I really hope we don't get repetitive from this point on. Thien needs to put in some effort now. And the info that Muey applied to study abroad made me understand better why she started to persue Thien so aggressively - it's better to give it your all and have no regrets before calling it quits. In Mueys head Thien will maybe never fall in love with her but she just wanted to let it all out so she can move on.

I'm looking forward to next week - even though the last two weeks lost some drive of the first episodes I'm still enjoying this show a lot <3

Woah I need a drama with Woo Do Hwan & Moon Ga Young as the leads - they chemistry was amazing here!!!

Unfortunately, I couldn't finish this drama. At some point I just didn't really care anymore. That's too bad because I love Cruel Intentions and I also really love the trio in this drama (at least up to what I watched). The FL was also ok - despite the criticism I don't think she was bad. But still I couldn't make it past episode 8...

Naaaw they are such cute babies <3

I really appreciate Miao Miao's character - usually in those kind of stories the girl is making every decision because of her crush (e. g. It started with a kiss) but in here Miao Miao gets influenced but she eventually chooses what makes her improve and happy. I love that she chose her university not because of You Nian but because of the major she wanted to study. And even though she ended up in the same major as You Nian, she chose to switch instead of studying something she wasn't interested in just to stay close to him. I love that she is hard working and focused.

And of course it's super nice to have a male lead who is just a really nice guy who is not playing games and who is genuinely good to our FM. I think the conflinct in the end was necessary to show how much You Nian cared without even realizing he was in love with her just as long as she liked him.

And can I say again how cute those two babies were? They were adorable and I dont mind that they didn't kiss - at least in front of us - they were perfect the way they are <3

Hm... I actually wanted them to have some distance. Thien definitely feels something for Muey - he just can't name it yet. I mean he said he is disappointed in her as her husband and not as an older brother.
But I guess that's the dynamic they are going for.

Anyways I feel this is not a story where Thien magically realizes that he loved Muey all the long. I think it's more of a rediscover for him. It seems to bother him quite a lot that he doesn't know anything about Muey dispite knowing her for 10+ years. He actually never knew what kind of girl she is and now they are married he discovers all those hidden qualities of her. So I think it's not that he loved her all along - he definitely cared and worried about her though - but more that he falls for her after knowing her better. At least that's the way I hope it goes. After 7 episodes I don't think I'd buy a "Oh I was in love with her the whole time and didn't realize it"-Story.

Second ML, I hope you can do a good job in the next episodes! And damn, I really hope Yada's husband is not really attracted to Muey - he is trash and should stay away from her as far as he could!

Episode 6 was a weak episode. I hope episode 7 will be better.

I wonder when the Second ML will become more active. We're almost halfway through the Lakorn, and so far he hasn't played much of a role.

He needs to see how talented and cute she is. Muey deserves a guy who is not mean to her and seriously thien dont…
I think the latest episode showed how little he knows about Muey - it's funny how even his boss knows Mueys capabilities better than Thian does. And I also think he will change completely when he gets to know that Muey saved his life back in episode 1 and that she almost died because of that.

This drama has more kisses than all K-Dramas of 2019 together :D

It's a nice watch - the main couple is cute and very affectionate with each other. The side plots are not too heavy. Sometimes the plot was rather unfocused and I wondered if they were just abandoning some parts. But they went back on track every time.

I loved the brother of the prince, Prince Ling (though in the beginning I wouldn't even imagine that I would feel like that) and I hated Huixin until the end. Actually I don't really get why she was such a mess (yeah she "loved" Li Qian but there wasn't a moment where he showed her that he would ever return her feelings. In fact, he bluntly told her that he doesn't want to marry her and I assume that he told her even before Mingyue appeared).

The central theme is love. People sacrifice for love, they kill for love and they die for love. I'm sad this drama ended and I wouldn't mind a second season of fluff! :)

The most inconsistent character in here is actually the female lead - but I don't think she knows. She complains that the ML is not fighting for their love but every time he does she is telling him not to.

And please someone tell this girl that she doesnt need to date the other guy just because she can't date the ML. I dont understand why it's ML or the other dude. She could just go solo for a while.

In this aspect Rose & Lek's brother are having a better lovestory. Yeah, there are lies and betrayel but those two are simply the real lovestory here.

Nevertheless, this drama is better than expected. I really like that you don't really know who is right or wrong but damn you really want to know how all this started. Im going to finish the last 5 episodes today ?

I enjoy this drama a lot! Really! But I'm a little dissappointed that the break-up is handled like this. I feel like it's both their fault but it seems like only Yu Bing is the one that is expected to apologize... At least that's how it looks like after episode 35.
I do understand that Tang Xue wanted to keep her promise to Yu Yans mom but she didn't need to lie and stand up Yu Bing over and over again. That's why he misunderstood and got insecure about her feelings for him. It's not even surprising that he is insecure because he was always the one depending on her decisions, forgiveness and moods. Don't get me wrong - those two are adorable with each other and compliment each other well but if your partner is obviously not honest with you and all you hear is "Don't you trust me?" or "Don't you trust yourself?" that's really difficult to take.
Nevertheless I hope Tang Xue also apologizes and it's not only Yu Bing that needs to reflect. It's the first relationship for both of them - I hope they can learn from this situation.

I'm going to be really sad when this drama ends T.T
