I watched the whole thing. 37 episodes. Loved the acting , the story line and cinematography. I feel karma didn't bite hard enough to be satisfying. Wanted Guyan , the handbag witch and Mr. Fan to suffer more. Yes, I am unapologetically petty. Forgive me.
As for the FLs best friend, she suffered the consequences of her actions but why did she make both the men wait for her? She could have told them she wasn't coming!
I suppose the FL and ML will find happiness this way, by loving each other, but giving each other space.
Overall a thought provoking drama with flawed characters. In life too, no one is perfect, I guess! We are spoilt by the usual C drama or K drama where men and women are oh so perfect that we find it difficult to accept reality in dramas like this!

All said and done, the actor who plays Gu Yan is a really good actor. At first he was quite diffident , shy and lacked confidence. Head bent, never sure of himself. We could see his gradual transformation. From the previews I watched, it looks like he is going to get even more arrogant and condescending. Hats off to the actor for making all of us loath him!

I am waiting for his downfall!! Does that assistant think she still has a chance with He Han??

I got only episode 32 today. One great thing about this episode was that we didn't have to look at Gu Yan's face!

I can't stand zhou Mei. She lives with her so called bestie but approves of all that this lady is doing.

When will the misery end? For the leads and for us? Haven't they sunk deep enough? We don't have too many episodes left. Even if the leads just remain friends, I want retribution. I want Guyan and the evil one to fall into despair. Is that too much to ask?
Why the hell is the mistress always consoling the evil one. Doesn't she knows that her bestie is suffering because of that lady??
Right now I can't stand that young assistant. For that trick she tried to pull with He Han!

Slightly off topic. Have you all watched ' The glamorous night'? It has a business background, ambition, love, lust, infidelity and what not. I enjoyed watching it. It is available on YouTube for free. It is as intense as this one , but delves a bit more into business.

The 3rd FL is trying to do the same! She knows that He Han and the FL love each other .

Ep 28 and 29 had my blood boiling ! For so many reasons.
Guyan's arrogance. Him making He Han driving him around, then making him wait for an hour or more.
The pony tailed, hand bag carrying bitch's evil ways .
The mistress helping the evil bitch.
Guyan making the FL beg. Then refusing her
Gu Yan keeping his phone on so that the evil bitch can listen in.
And last but not the least. That assistant. What the??? She makes a move on the ML!
Was glad about a few things.
Guyan getting hit.
The bitch having a cyst or whatever
That the ML rejected the little seductress.

I thought the same! What more can you expect from someone who has an affair with a married man?

Now when I see anyone on the street holding the hand bag that way, and with a tight long pony tail, I get the jitters. Can't forget the sight of that lady walking in and out of places unleashing evil! ( Just my pov)

I hope the FL and ML learn from the mistakes her parents made. Life is short. Don't let love go by.
