I wonder if a special episode or something is lined up… to sustain everyone’s interest, since the DVD blu-ray box sets will be released in jan 2026 which is still some time away.

I enjoyed the behind-the-scenes special. Appreciate all the hard work that went into making the drama. Highlight for me was the way Kazama Shunsuke analysed the scenes, he’s a good senpei, guiding Shoji Kohei. They made a good decision to include the 3rd kiss - it wasn’t in the script

Yes! So happy with the finale 🥰, it didn’t feel as rushed as I had imagined it to be. And the proper kiss! I was totally expecting a dead-fish type, or the classic fade-out where we don’t see anything. Looking forward to the special episode next week! Will want to have Sembikiya parfait when I visit Japan again. And buy the mini sparrow plushies, if available 😄

Just Wondering which episode(s) you all would re-watch?

My personal favourites are
1. Ep 2 - takoyaki party- Keishi went all out with tactics 🥰
2. Ep 4 - customised coffee- Suzume tried new stuff on his own and realised that he could improve. That face mask scene got me teary eyed
3. Ep 9 - the episode that made squeal with joy then felt so bad all in the span of 20 mins. I thought the actors did really well here.

Also, I like how the small sparrow plushies reflect the couple’s situation. Like how they are placed on the mini bench in Suzume’s home, whether together or a little apart. My heart broke last episode cos the one representing Suzume was shown alone in the end

Can’t believe we’ll have the finale tomorrow! Where did all the time go 😅

Episode 11 was sad, but it filled in some gaps in the manga. In the original story, I don’t think Suzume and Keishi ever had a proper talk after the Tanaka incident , so I’m glad the drama included it

Kiroki is such a good friend to Suzume. Offering a listening ear 😥 he sensed Suzume was unhappy

Yes I watch weekly. Though The 1 week waiting time feels like an eternity 😅

Ah… just read the synopsis on gagaoohlala 😰 Suzume and Keshi run into Tanaka again and Keshi makes a choice which hurts Suzume. I wonder if this will really happen in the show, because there have been some write ups which didn’t occur in the corresponding episodes

Has anyone watched the long version preview of the next ep? Appreciate it if you could share what Suzume said to Keishi 😘

Just a random thought.. I wonder what Keishi’s hair color is like in real life? Looks like a lot of maintenance 😅haha. With post production , I’m sure what’s on screen doesn’t reflect reality

That was a relatively boring episode. Like some of you have pointed out, this is just the calm before the storm 😢 I can’t wait for Friday’s new episode, yet can’t take the heartbreak. Oh let’s get this over with.. don’t torture Suzume and Keishi.

Yes! Keishi gets to see another side of Suzume 🥰 I too wonder if the drama will feature Keishi getting contacts.. since he really wants to see Suzume when it is *ahem* glasses-off time 😆 In vol 2, I think his glasses do a play a part in the story. Just a guess, as I had to use a translator app

Tbh, I initially didn’t like the story variation in ep 3. But now I appreciate how these variations are weaved into the drama. Not disjointed, as references back to the manga are pretty seamless. With the upcoming angst/crisis, I truly hope it doesn’t go beyond 2 episodes. Ganbatte Suzume and Keishi !
