Title Hello, Me!
Good drama for casual viewing. Felt outdated at times though.

Do you know this drama is not really suspense or thriller or anything in that category right? not even in the…
I watched the writer's previous work, so I knew what I was getting myself into, but the execution for this drama hasn't been great. I like all genres, and I know the writer indulges in every single one of them, but the way he has been incorporating certain element feels forced. He's trying too hard.

I'm glad, people are enjoying it, and I'd actually recommend for them to visit his previous work because I liked it a lot and it's worth the watch, but personally, this drama hasn't been particularly good overall (I liked the first couple of episodes).

P.S. I definitely agree that this isn't a show for people that expect something much more serious, but even from an entertainment standpoint, it's lacking. It's one thing to shut your brain off to enjoy something, but it's another when the thing itself shuts your brain off.

To each its own I hit it since episode 1 but some said it took them the whole 4 first episodes to get into the…
Oh, I'm caught up with the series. And I was immediately hooked as well. What I meant is that nothing has been as good as episode 4. All the episodes that have come after it have just been decent, or meh.

Ok so this comment is not just for you, it is for future readers.Don't expect thrill, suspense, seriousness, mind-blowing…
Ehhh but this hasn't been great though. It got pretty boring after a good number of episodes and it seems confused. The Fiery Priest was great because it knew exactly what it was, but this drama is all over the place and nothing really lands. Not the comedy. Not the drama. It also doesn't help that the writer is trying to recapture the "magic" of The Fiery Priest. He's borrowing a lot of story beats that simply don't work for this drama because it actually tries to take itself seriously at times.

Just finished episode 11 and 12That slap by Cha Young.. not even one..the deserved itAnd chayoung and Vincenzo…
Yeah, I think that's what has been disappointing me the most about this drama. Direction is great and the acting is pretty good, but the writing is quite mediocre. For a series that's going to be 20 episodes long, you'd expect them to not make things easy for the characters. And I agree with the comedy being bad (not clicking). It also doesn't help that I don't find the supporting cast to be all that charming, since they are the one who provide most of the comic relief.

God, I love this drama so much. Only 4 episodes in and I already care so much about the characters and their relationships. I just wish it didn't air at the beginning at the week. Need something to look forward to and get me through the week.

Unfortunately going to put this on hold. Not sure if it's because I'm exhausted with school and don't have the energy to continue watching it, or if I just don't care about it. I was really excited about it because it has the same writer as The Fiery Priest, but this has been kind of meh (nothing has hit like episode 4). Maybe my opinion will change when I revisit it a later time.

Enjoying the ride this drama is offering, but with what I've seen, I can confidently say I prefer The Fiery Priest. I feel like this drama is trying really hard to capture those same beats, but it's doing a clumsy job of it. Everything after episode 4 has also been kind of "meh" for me. Hopefully the second half wows me.

I wonder how this drama will turn out. The first episode was really dull, but everything after has been pretty good. I don't think it's amazing, but it's entertaining enough and something I can casually watch, so it's nice.

Title Mr. Queen Spoiler
I, unfortunately, decided to spoil the last episode for myself because I wanted to know if the writers were going to surprise me and give a proper ending to this series about identity, or if they were going to do what I expected them to do and undo everything they built up. I was truly sad to see that they decided on the latter. While I'm glad there are some people who enjoyed and liked the ending to this series, I, myself, am disappointed. It just doesn't make sense from were I'm standing. People have already said what I'm about to say, but I just have to say it myself, so I can get it off my chest. Why bring So Young back? I understand that it would be sad for her to just be dead, since her life was pretty miserable, but she wasn't even a proper character, so why try to make us care about her and be okay that she's the one who gets the happy ending? And even if it is a happy ending for her, can you say the same for the King? He isn't with the person he fell in love with. How can he be okay with this? This is a result of the writers lack of planning. Aside from the memories, we don't get much of So Young as a charcater, and after the first couple of episodes, Bong Hwan stops looking for a way to return, and the writers do very little to give us hints as to how they were able to soul swap in the first place. It would have been perfectly fine for them to continue being vague about it and never touch on it because that wasn't the focus of the drama at all. The focus was Bong Hwan questioning his identityand developing as a person. It should have just sticked to that. I'm going to watch the episode later today, but I just wanted to give my thoughts before I get more disappointed as I watch it unfold.

I honestly just made this account to say that I'm enjoying this drama a lot. That being said, I really am curious to see how it will end and if it will satisfy me.

The thing I love about this series is how there is a big focus on identity and I wish it sticks with it until the end. A lot of people are saying that the main lead's soul is fused with the Queen's (or that he's simply in the passenger seat while she's the one driving), and that's why he constantly finds himself feeling or acting out of character, but I hope that isn't the case and that's just something he tells himself to be accept the situation he's in. The series poked a lot of fun at him in the beginning for being so narrow-minded, how liking guys would ruin him and destroy his identity, so I hope everything he's done up until now are his own actions. Really loved seeing him willingly try and test whether he liked the King or not by asking him if he wanted to stay for ramyeon (such a great scene). I feel like saying what he's done was because of the Queen's soul or body, would weaken his development as a person. Of course you can make the argument that he will use this experince in the present (if he returns), but that's also kind of meh. Just feel like the relationship between the King and him is so genuine and is a great way to show how much he's changed since the beginning (without losing his bombastic personality of course).
