I watched AvenueX's video on this drama and decided to do a self check and re-watch the series in a light hearted way. So I will rewatch this drama and not get carried away seeing how unfairly ML is treated in every episode. But I still cannot accept CGH as the 2nd ML as I really cannot love him for some reason since, usually 2nd ML's are supposed to be loved by everyone except for the FL and I have not been able to love him...... sorry.. He always seems like the villain to me.
Dunno, but as of now its the amnesia trope, tomorrow the ex-wife will make an appearance (is her father trying to get her married again? I dunno), JTH will watch her maid being gutted and fall into the water.... We see SZY and JTH work together. I can't understand what is being said as I cannot understand Chinese fully, but I am pretty sure the 4th prince will again get into trouble in eps 24-25. And yes the amnesia trope seems to be back... I am like no way, I am so done with amnesia!
Sorry for taking so long, there will be misunderstandings between ML &FL, I saw that the shop lady YWQ & our FL will be at the cliff and ML trying to shoot them. FL will fall down the cliff, loose her memory and then when she comes back, she will think that she is the 3rd prince's person and ML will be jealous. That's what I understood from the spoilers till ep 21.

We can blame the scriptwriter for that...... looks like the emperor is the end boss, so its going to take time. And the FL to start thinking like a mature person, well... IDK, its high time though.

Too much truth in one comment... I saw the trailers till episode 21, tomorrow's ep's are gonna be hard on us. And day after tomorrow, they are going to make us pull our hair out. But I think the FL here has a better brain than ADWAD, she has not lost sight of her aim, she is doing everything to survive and make sure that her actions do not bring any harm to her brother. In the meanwhile she is also trying to do right by her husband, and not to harm him and his country which includes his loved ones. But even though the ML trusts her, she has never trusted him completely or else she would have told him about her brother, poisoning and being a spy. She thinks that as soon as the ML knows about her being the spy, he will not forgive her. Unfortunately trust is the hardest thing one can give... I personally grew up with my mom saying "Do not believe your breath which you so take for granted", left me with trust issues........ so I cannot complain...

I am watching it for both of them, and LYN is indeed doing a fantastic job, his eyes when he is wronged by the people he wishes would love him are so on point! It makes me want to cry! And the way his expression says "What was I hoping for? Has it not been this way all the time?" Just Brilliant! Lets hope things get better for him soon!
Why she need to sacrifice her life for him?Wdym? What is wrong with ya'all?

"NH can't kill her I think girl you missed the point of those betrayal and killing is now seems more bound to happen this is what she fears and want to save her from this misery." - She fears that she cannot change the fate written in the script. 2. ""No one" You were the one who wrote in ur 1st comment to sacrifice her life for ml. But the person fl loves is ml hidden identity not Nan heng." - This shows that FL has double standards, is in denial and does not want to accept reality. 3. " Even if she sacrificed her life for him would Nan heng really be saved from Emperor and his misery?" - I am sick of ML being treated unfairly, I said if she sacrifices her life later in sense that she needs to make amends, since she is literally stabbing NH every moment she gets and he knows it since she also does it when he is dressed as LSL infront of her. 4. "NO so ur blame on fl but not blaming the Ml for trying to kill her in Ep 4,6 several times is showing your double Standards" - ML did try to kill her in the beginning because he thought she was controlling him somehow, but later after he realised he cannot kill her, he stopped after his failed experiments.
After reaching episode 18, all I can say is even though the FL knows that she is wrong in blaming everything on NH, her character has been designed to be selfish enough to only think about her own survival till this point. Her sister also pointed out, that FL thinks she doesnot think of herself to belong from the same world as the others. Thus she does not sympathise with anyone or empathises with anyone, which in turn makes her hurt everyone around her. I hope the character development happens faster, so that she realises that even though everyone is a character, they have feelings too and they did not ask to be treated unfairly.

Well, I am loosing hope as we are at the halfway mark. Frankly, I am a fan of Li Yi Tong since Bloody Romance, so I thought she would have a mature role here... but as someone said here in the comments, she has been reduced to a comic side kick here......

Nobody is asking her to save him, just no need to harm him. Her thoughts are too chaotic. And she has her plot armor, NH cannot kill her, and she knows it, I can only say the author made SYM's character a little thoughtless and fluffbrained.
