I get what you're saying and not trying to diminish ptsd but it's a drama and personally I don't want to sit through a few episodes of her overcoming her trauma. The plot needs to move on...

Agree especially when the ML is 28. I don't mind age gap if she's 27 and he's 38 but to cast a 17 yrs old, that's just weird even if there is no kissing.
No the angst is not bad. Misunderstandings were resolved fairly quickly. The ML was going the noble idiocy route on ep 20 but it was sort of resolved within the same episode.

Yes Blossom is good and has alot of fans so it's going back up. This one I also find is as good but more tame and no hype but nothing bad happened in the last few episodes to get the rating down like this except for pettiness.
The synopsis is from the novel and drama adaptations sometimes don't follow the novel so anything can happen. It's totally up to you if you want to wait until it has finished airing but the angst is not bad and there are quite a bit of light moments. I would watch it just for the ML though. He's one of the best character I've watched in some time.
Whoever said NWN and her maid have gl vibes is so accurate. I totally see the tenderness and affection they have for each other. If this wasn't a Chinese production, it will most likely happen.

I'm watching both as well. I don't know why some people need to put down another to enjoy one. I for one am happy to watch both at the same time so the wait is not so bad and I'm enjoying them for different reasons.
Yes I definitely get that. Running your own business is very time consuming. My parents had their own business for over 30 yrs and they put so much into it. The outcome is good after they retired but so much sacrifice on my childhood and my siblings. We barely get to do anything fun as a family growing up. It's all about the business. I think it's different now. I can see families setting a better work life balance.
If ZXY was the main lead, JYY would still love him despite all he did to save her - keeping her in the dark and marrying NWN, so he can gain some power to protect her. I like the conversation on ep 19, him clearing the air and explaining why he did it and her telling him it's too late and he never asked her what she wants, I feel bad for him since that's what so many MLs do in other dramas to protect the FL but unfortunately, he's not the ML, so she has moved on...
Good for you! I take it your career is going well then :-) I'm at this stage where I'm just too comfortable and don't want to make any changes. I like working from home. Really helps in balancing family life and have spare time for dramas lol
