I agreed with you about being disappointed with DW being clueless about YZJ's lie. It's so obvious something was not right. he has no reason for wanting to kill the convoy. All her loved ones died brutally and she just swept it under the rug and believed YZJ was responsible without any qualm. She only questioned it after ZJR mentioned it.

No I haven't watched the Trust. I'm not sure I would like to see the ML spending time with his other wives when there is misunderstanding with the FL, assuming she's his main wife. It will turn me off so would rather not watch.

Yes I feel the same way. It's realistic that the emperor has a harem but not comfortable with the multiple women vying for the ML. Glad they are changing that in the recent dramas involving ML who are emperors or princes.

I read the comments on Ruyi and I was informed that the emperor has many women and he shunned the FL for most of the drama. I love Wallace Ho and I don't want to leave a bad impression of him in my brain so I'm never going to watch it lol

Ah I see you mean for FFH and WYL. I got over them somehow along the way so it wasn't traumatizing for me that they didn't end up together. I'm not a big fan of her and the emperor but I didn't watch it for the romance so I was ok with it. Yes I agree, amazing story telling indeed.

Yes I have never encountered a page like this. I think I was on the comment page for HL but I don't think it was this bad. I have no idea ranking and rating are so important to a drama that it's no fun since that's the majority of the comments.

I get that fans are very sensitive because Lusi is getting alot of hate but please stop being mean to every account who doesn't like or enjoy the drama. They have the right to post that but everyone ganging up on them is just really mean. If you don't like it, just ignore it.

i Just started this so not sure of the context but it's not normal in Chinese culture to call their parents first name. When I was a kid, I don't even know my parents first name because they only refer to each other as 'mom' and 'dad'.

Never! Respect for the elders is very important in Chinese culture. Unless it's an inside joke or something, I have never heard that before.

If you find the beginning depressing and hard to watch, I suggest you maybe not watch this. The middle is going to be even harder to watch. It's not a drama where the good guys always win. Alot of losses so be prepared.

She's actually not if you check her watchlist. If she was, she has a weird way of showing it, rating many of Yu Shuxin's dramas 1 star.

To be fair, I think he did plan to bring her with him. It's only afterward, when he found out the witch doctor was murdered and he didn't have long to live, that he made the decision to drug her since he can drop dead any moment and not be there to protect her. I get where he is coming from, and knowing DW, regardless, she will insist on going with him.

So you're saying if you're going on a suicide mission, you will let you beloved one make the choice to join you? I get YZJ's reasoning especially when he knows he might not live long and he wants her to have a peaceful life away from it all.
