Lmaoo 🤣 It is still a bit difficult to get a clear image but I see some tongue action going on (ofc it's not a really really deep and juicy kiss but they did used tongue) and you can hear the sound of the *slurp* if you listen closely during the last kiss scene

I'm pretty sure one thing that made this drama kind of awkward (I really love it though) is because:

1) It's the lead actors first starring role
2) They are VERY busy with idol activities and the filming schedule crashed around the time they had tournaments
3) There were only 8 episodes so there's a lot of "doesn't make sense" and "sudden" scenes because they cramped it all in one series, since the manga is very long, so it's unlikely for them to make season 2 since they've changed the storyline a bit just to fit in one season
4) The camera angles and movements was....stiff? I'm not sure how to explain it, Keito did mention in an interview that the director's style is a "one-take-shot" so most of the time they had to do only 1 takes.
5) The times when Onoe panicked or made a self monologue, the production team did nothing to add an effect or impact for example the monologue can be said in mind (which means voiceover) and then a close up scene of the character's face to exaggerate the scene more so the viewers can feel it too, but because of the filming style feeling being too 'serious', it doesn't match with the actor's pace.

Another example would be when Kaburagi got threatened by Inami, and maybe they could've made a close up shot of Kaburagi clenching his fist, or him glaring at Inami. The lack of different angles and shots make the drama moreover awkward. (the director could've find a way to 'save' the 'awkward' acting of the actors and make it appear less stiff, but again, I guess it's his style)

6) I'll say this again, timing was really bad because Keito's group literally has a huge tournament that travels all around Japan during the filming, so it must be very difficult for the production team to discuss where to take shots of certain scenes and what time, weather, and so on. Jyutaro also had another drama to take care of at the time, (also his group's tour)

7) The only good scenes in my opinions are oddly the spicy scenes. Maybe because it's common for BL fans to love the spicy scenes? Maybe that's it but the two lead actors have mentioned that mostly in the 'spicy' scenes, they themselves consulted to the cameraman and decide the lighting, the atmosphere, which angle, and what camera movement they should do for the spicy scenes, so I guess it's because of the actors idea that makes it better? Could be it too.



Overall I would give this drama 9.5/10 (maybe you'd rate this lower or higher, it's your opinion :D)
1. Because I am biased (lmao) I love these two so much and I'm so happy theyre acting together in my fav BL and I couldn't help but convince myself the acting is not as terrible. (it isn't, but it's not perfect)
2. Can we talk about how Onoe's reaction was perfect? Par to the other BLs (excluding My Beautiful Man and semantic error), the spicy scene was so so awkward and uke was very stiff and didn't even give a reaction, seme didn't even show dominance and was shaking a lot, you might know which dramas I'm talking about. But in here, the detail is perfect. Onoe arched his back, grabbed the pillow, shuddering, lip biting and closing his eyes tight whil Kaburagi's eyes looks hungry and is ready to devour Onoe at any time 😳
3. I AM SURPRISED HOW KEITO EXECUTED THIS SO WELL??? I mean ok, acting is meh BUT as a huge fan of a man who dances really sexily on stage, flirts with girls in some dramas and even wants to act in a teen romance drama, shook me to the core cause I will never imagine him in a BL, he even mention he immediately accepted the offer to act in the drama. I did not expect three kiss scenes, one car scene and one make out scene, from HIM.



I bet Yusei is very proud of him now. (btw Yusei from Utsukushi Kare is in the same group as Keito)

I turned my brightness to max and even downloaded an app that makes your screen goes even brighter than the max (I'm determined lmao, don't do this like me though, it could damage your eyesight and your screen) but they were actually kissing 😳 and they also used tongue

Honestly did not understand how people are disappointed at the bed scene, it's already miles better than any other BL with no juiciness at all, Onoe's reaction was perfect, and Kaburagi's uhhhh.... LICKS AND KISSES was ahem. 😳

To new viewers, please don't give up this drama, I beg you. Please. FOR THE SAKE OF EPISODE 8, I DID NOT EXPECT THE SPICY SCENE TO BE THAT SPICY AND SO DETAILED AND SO HOT IT MADE ME FEEL OFF MY CHAIR. I'm serious, as the drama progresses, it gets better and better

I love how every era of Keito is like a completely different person lmao. That's what I really like about FANTASTICS 😂 You'll never know what kind of look they'll pull up next when they have a comeback

EXCUSE ME? EPISODE 8 PREVIEW IS SOMETHING ELSE 👀👀👀 I knew they're gonna do that last scene in Episode 8 (according to my intuition after reading the manga) I'm so excited with how much spicy scenes they've offered us in the drama so far and there'll be a white blanket scene? Such a classic scene for BLs (A white blanket scene is basically a scene where two main leads are in a white room/white blanket for the aesthetic and this scene was very popular in the late 2000s until 2015 BL, I'm glad they brought this trend back in new BLs.

He looks very different depending on what styling he got. For example with blue hair, he looks like a rich transfer student. With golden brown hair, he looks like a prince especially in his group's song called Escape and Santa Monica Lollipop. Then with black hair, he looks more softer and mature. Then with red hair etc.. you get what I mean

I'm pretty sure he is one of Ayato's friends!

Kosuke from Takara Kun to Amagi Kun and Kyoya from Zettai BL :D I can't believe they put two of my fav japanese actors acting in a BL together again ><

First was Keito and Jyutaro for Ameiro Paradox and now Kosuke and Kyoya for Jack Frost!

Remember when Inami mentioned that his friend was the one who asked him to be an actor, and he did? He has feelings for him for a long time already buts he already married. Based on my understanding, his friend supported him on being an actor and continued to keep in touch with each other until one day he asked Inami to give him money because he's in debt. And on top of that, he's also married, which makes Inami feels deceived. If my explanation is not clear enough, you can try reading the manga on Vol 4.

Yup. To compare other BLs, the "matureness" you meant (which probably meant the spicy scenes kind of?) Is maintained well in this drama, some wholesome BLs just stay wholesome and fluff, and if the BL is spicy, it stays spicy but usually have a very sad ending. This drama is balanced in that aspect and also not the usual very over exaggerated manga-like reaction, for example a lot of inner-monologue, First person view kind of scenes or imagination scenes.

We'll see what will happen in the second kiss scene. Although I do want to clarify that the first kiss scene is exactly what happened in the manga. No deep kiss, just peck on the lips.

If you read the manga you would know why Inami secretly is the broker of AV... I'm also tired of seeing people saying "what's with the dead fish kiss" Like come on man, they're following the manga. That's exactly what they did in the manga, just a peck on the lips. Please don't jump into conclusion
