I was feeling betrayed until I found out DengLun uses his own voice because it was one of the reasons I liked him so much in Ashes of love xd And I was so sure that YangMi uses her own voice too because in both dramas that I ve seen with her the voice was the same and it seemed so natural, like in some dramas you can see it s a dub This proves how amazing voice actors China has :)
Are we sure main lead is pharmacist, not doctor or nurse?
Yes, she is a pharmacist. In Pharmacy school you have a lot of doctor/nurse related subjects which you have to know well. People like her do exist. Of course, in real life you can’t go to the patients house or resuscitate him in the ER. Her character is that of a very good pharmacist who knows what she is doing, who studied a lot and still studies wanting to know more.
dropped this. pharmacists should do their job. shes ignoring her role and going about doign random shit. its nice…
She's ignoring her role? How? And when? She's doing too much actually. What she actually does I think it's every pharmacists dream. To help people as much as possible, to say a kind word, to help doctors and nurses and to work togheter because after all they all have the same goal, to help people recover and make them healthy again.
Can't believe I've waited so long for something so sh*tty ! [>_
This drama is made after a manga, of course it's going to be cringy. Pretty Proofreader was indeed a good drama but also full of cringeworthy moments, but it's a Japanese drama, what do you expect? I think it's also part of their charm. Even Rich Man Poor Woman or From 5 to 9 had it's moments too. "Everybody is mean and ugly, the most pretty girl in the world is also the only one who knows everything but nobody's thanking her while she's busy saving lives !" I think everyone wants to be appreciated for what you do, especially when you are really good at your job, the new girl just pointed out a fact, that pharmacists aren't appreciated at all for what they do. Her reaction was really understandable. Also that scene when she wanted to take the elevator and her boss told her that the order is patients, doctors, nurses then pharmacists shows a lot how well pharmacists are being treated. I think that's the point of the story, to show the world how much pharmacists help people and aren't only "selling medicine", how much they know and also how much doctors do not care about their opinions. Even now with the Coronavirus pharmacists barely get recognition for all the work they have done. "It's not like working in a hospital like doctors and nurses are" that must be how the majority of people might think, but pharmacists are also exposed to risks which they assume because that's what they wished to do, just like doctors and the other medical staff. "Incompetent doctors everywhere ... I'm not asking for reality but the story starts with an hospital which mus have 254 dead per day caused by totally incompetent doctors. " You would be surprised at the amount of errors and mistakes doctors make when prescribing medicine and when a pharmacist points out they are fuming. Of course, not deadly mistakes but some of them could cause complications which might affect the patient's life more or less. "I am sadness, I am diabetic, you can't understand my pain" The patients were still young, to have type 2 diabetes at such a young age is pretty tough for them mentally, not only physically. Imagine having to inject insuline more years than you've actually lived a carefree life, before becoming ill. I personally really like the story, wished that the manga was also translated in english, and I cannot wait until the next episode is subbed.
