Everyone seems to be upset about this season but honestly, I think it's ok. It definitely went the opposite direction of the fluffy stuff everyone thinks it's supposed to be (this drama is basically dark shit in cotton-candy's clothing) but I'm impressed with the writers for bringing up issues and not just gooey romance. It's about making mistakes and (learning to make) decisions, and learning from them. Basically it's about becoming more mature as a person.
Gotta admit tho not that happy with the way the writers handle some of the issues, esp with Tern (goddammit Tern), and how they just seemed to pack couples into the story and ended up not having enough space for them. While it might be cute, I believe you don't really have to pair everyone.
Anyway, keep an open mind while watching this ppl, some things are portrayed the way they're NOT supposed to be and let's just tell ourselves they're putting the bad example on purpose so the audience could learn from them to make ourselves feel better.
(my biggest takeaway: consent (and AGE of consent) is hella important ppl)
IF you read in the obituary that I died, just know it was cause I was watching Frame and Book...and I died happy.…
IKR I was going WTF the whole time telling myself "no the crew's just joking around there's no way Wit is going to be with Yok's mom" and then BAM! Wit rejected Lily for her. I won't say shit if they got this going like 8-10 years later but lady Wit's (i'm sure he is?) underage! It's just not right!
And btw I'M DEAD TOO Framebook is SO worth all those painful moments cringing and getting triggered ugh so glad the last eps are very indulgent :)
Here for MingKit basically. I love how no-nonsense P'Kit is lol. Phayo's cute n all but yeah charas like Phana n the whole unnecessary "you're my servant"-that-didn't-even-have-much-effect thing kinda put me off. I mean, one way to look at it is like Phana's good at playing around but not serious relationships so he's crazy awkward at it but he's trying? Still i know they're new to acting and I hope to see improvements throughout S2&3! Btw also kinda worried about ForthBeam since at first glance it looks like they don't have chemistry but I HAVE FAITH IN THEM! They also have the "broken-hearted-from-the-main-character" card to pull that often works well for side-pairings so looking forward to finding out!
I really don't understand the hate that FUSE gets. Even to the point that some commentors on some forums…
OMG YES! Thank you for pointing those out! These boys are seriously adorable but I'm really not okay with them romanticising rape with both Tee&Fuse and Frame&Book. Like, I appreciate Tee apologizing sincerely in season 1 but Frame seemed pretty chill he hurt Book to the point he tore something (yes he apologized but srsly that apology's so light dude u basically took him when he explicitly said NO). Call me annoying or whatever for making a big deal out of these but I just can't get over them.
