I havenβt watched this week's eps yet but someone please answer me this. Did ji won find out that her new bestie is her future man's sister or no? Cause that's one misunderstanding which is gonna be a headache and honestly always overused in kdramas
From the ep preview it would seem like Last Picture. But then why are they being secretive? ππ Maybe Blame…
Mmm that makes sense too. Gmm also doing the bare minimum with the OSTs of this series is gonna be my villain origin story. The constant delays, the delays on getting them on streaming platforms, you name it!

I don't understand people who don't want Day to get his sight back. If you were blind, wouldn't you want your…
Sea in a live "This story is about hope" Day in the preview of next ep "Even if i can't see, the sky remains the sky. The sea remains the sea" This series is about Day coming to accept and love himself despite the fact that he can't see. Ofcourse having his sight back would be amazing. But him not getting his sight back is not a sad ending that many people seem to think it is. He was miserable about it (with every right to be) because his whole life was turned upside down. Then he spent a year in the care of different people (the show has talked about past caretakers) and even his family babying and pitying him. No disabled person wants to feel like an invalid even though they may need help at times. Now with Mhok entering the scene, Day is finally out of that dark room (could be symbolic of a lot of stuff in his life). He's doing things successfully, which he might not have even considered when he had vision or even a few months back when Mhok wasn't in his life. - He went out to see his Coach and friends which showed him it was possible to hangout with them despite his condition. - He formed a bond with Mhok and even Porjai which shows him that people will love and care for him just as he is. - He ran a whole marathon with his compromised vision which he had thought was impossible.
If P'Aof goes the route of him never getting his sight back, that's the best ending for the show because that is what it has been building towards. Imo, anything else would spoil it. People with disabilities can integrate very well into society and live their lives happily with their disabilities. There are countless examples of blind people who are very well integrated into society. Wanting Day to get his sight back just cause that's the only happy ending they see for him is very very disrespectful not only to the blind community but also to the vision of p'aof and the characters of Day and Mhok who have become each other's hope. It's also extremely abelist to think he needs to be able to see to be truly happy. Unless ofcourse they take another route which would actually be a bad choice and poor representation of the community. But i dont think they will. I have full faith in P'Aof. He has shown acceptance and loving yourself for a differently abled person already in moonlight chicken and he'll do it again. He literally said he was inspired to write this story because of how he saw people who are blind living fully capable lives. With shows that have complex subject matter and characters like this its better to pick up on context clues from the story than just watching it with a one track mind. And also pay attention to what the people involved in the project have literally said a thousand times
Maybe the doll was placed there by the killer. I dont think he killed them by accident. Have you watched the trailer…
Yea, it definitely wasn't an accident and he is not an ordinary man for sure. Cause Yi Jae had flashbacks of him in each of his incarnations. It also doesn't make sense that the "accident" happened just when Yi Jae confessed everything. I guess we'll only get the answers in part 2
Okay I really wasn't expecting the recurring bodies turning out to be jisu and yijae's 7th incarnation. When Death mentioned that he committed a bigger sin than offing himself, I thought he might have accidently killed a mother/pregnant lady because of the doll in some scenes. So if it's not then what is the significance of the doll? If anyone has answers, please help me.
In the scene you mention, and in others, I see a curious boy, a boy intrigued by another boy. Day is able to identify…
In this very thread, the first comment of yours that I replied to was the one where you said Day possibly feeling things for both boys makes him look bad. Which is what prompted my reply and started pur whole discussion. After that point, me and many others have given you examples that show Day's developing feelings for Mhok. We have also never denied that he did indeed like August and confessed to it multiple times. As explained by a lot of us, there are reasons Day likes Mhok and there are reasons that his focus shifted to August. Of course I would not want someone I love to love someone else at the same time. But that's not the case here. August does not love or even like Day. And even in real life while I may resent my partner for falling in love with someone while claiming to still have positive feelings for me, it is again something called human and emotional complexity. It can happen and is not uncommon at all. Its even morally more acceptable in this case because atleast Day is not cheating on someone he is committed to. He just feels deeply for Mhok who has never pitied him and appreciates him just the way he is. As I have said in each of my replies before, the feelings for August resurfaced because he came back in his life and also fucked it up by being extra caring to Day and leading him on. If August had not come back at all but we as an audience knew that Day had feelings for him forever, would you still be objecting his relationship development with Mhok on the grounds that he's in love with someone else? I have also addressed your issue with the kiss and Day's vulnerability in my previous comment already. Lastly, I don't mean this in a rude way at all, but I think you need to start picking up on context clues and subtleties in the drama instead of just taking it on face value, leading to complex questions which can be answered if you simply pay attention to details. It also seems like you ask a lot of questions but do not take the answers given by anyone objectively and just cross question and correct them. I do not know how to answer your questions in a new way anymore so I'm afraid I'll have to stop replying to this thread. It was fun engaging it in nonetheless πΈ
This series is honestly SOOOO GOOOD that it's making me scared as there is still 7 more episodes. Like I'm scare…
We still have the 180 days left for him to go completely blind, Night and Day's issue, the Songkla trip and the mom's resistance towards Mhok to cover so I'm hoping it'll be well-paced and addressed. I do get what you mean, though. It's a classic issue with many BLs to drag stuff for episodes with little to no plot. I actually have the opposite fear of them having too little eps to cover all of this. But again as you said its an indication of how much I'm enjoying the show.
In the scene you mention, and in others, I see a curious boy, a boy intrigued by another boy. Day is able to identify…
You are now talking about a different thing all together. I believe we were talking about Day being a bad person for liking two people at the same time (your words, not mine) and i tried to give you my perspective based on what I gathered from the show. As for Mhok kissing Day, yes it is a very gray area where people are allowed to have polarising opinions. Some people like me, liked the kiss because we took it more as Mhok reassuring Day that he doesn't take pity on him more than him kissing him as a confession. Yes, his actions were fueled by his own feelings but atleast he comes from a better place than August did. Others like you did not like the kiss because it felt too soon and also because Day may not have wanted it due to just having his heart broken and i do respect that viewpoint as well. Yes, Day was on his own before because like he said in his own words "he was a spoiled rich brat". But the people doing things for him now are not doing it because he may have become less of a brat. They are doing it because they feel pity for him. They think what they're doing is right because they feel bad for him. The same ill-founded logic August used to kiss Day. About talking to Gee, i was talking about Day's feelings for August which he may have mentioned to her offscreen like he did with his mentor. Not about his feelings for Mhok.
I am also gonna reiterate again that Day in no way has implied that he prefers being blind. The last scene where he called himself lucky to be blind was him being cynical and sarcastic about how his blindness makes people treat him differently. WITH PITY. Regarding me mentioning "levels", i did not mention levels of blindness. I said at some levels, which means in situations in his life, he will always be treated with pity by one person or another due to his condition. But as a side note, there are definitely levels of blindness. Some people are declared legally blind because they may not be able to take part in daily activities due to their extremely compromised vision. While others are blind simply by the most common understanding of the word, which is that they see black and nothing else. Day himself is at a different level of blindness then let's say someome who was born blind. Because he can still "see" in some sense of the word. Lastly, i am just trying to help you answer the questions you had to the best of my ability and from the answers we got through the episode so let's try and engage in a healthy discussion, hm? To answer your question, i do know what I'm talking about.
In the scene you mention, and in others, I see a curious boy, a boy intrigued by another boy. Day is able to identify…
Yes, that is what I said. He has been in love with August for years. But he has only just started getting closer to Mhok. So its no surprise that he does not yet recognise that his feelings for Mhok go beyond friendship. He has not considered that at all. Also August not only came back but also led him on so its again no surprise that Day's feelings resurfaced cause its something he recognises as beyond friendship. As for him sharing the feelings with Mhok, that's probably cause right now Mhok is the closest thing he has to a friend. He does not have a good relationship with his brother and his mom is away a lot. A lot of boys at this age do not share issues of love with their moms anyway. Gee is back to being his friend but Day might think she is too close to the issue (being in the same club) to get her involved. Or maybe he told her offscreen and we don't know yet. It was also alluded that he has spoken about August with his mentor from the Shining Society. And he was not referring to his blindness as a seal from rejection. He expressly stated that he was "lucky" to be blind because people did things for him they would not consider doing before. Its cause they pity him. The line about him being lucky wasnt meant to be literal but him recognising that at some levels his blindness will always subject him to pity from people. Which is why he immediately questioned if there's someone who doesn't pity him and Mhok tried showing him in his own way.
In the scene you mention, and in others, I see a curious boy, a boy intrigued by another boy. Day is able to identify…
The thing is, i don't think Day is aware of just how deep his feelings for Mhok may be. Something else to note is also that while he has built attraction and trust for Mhok, they've known each other for far lesser time than he has known and liked August. It's not far fetched that the reappearance of August has made the old feelings resurface and his feelings for Mhok take a back seat. Everything with August is familiar, simple, easy. Humans are complicated. It doesn't make Day a bad person. Just very human.
Well, maybe this series is just not your cup of tea. Sorry to say, but I suggest you to drop this series, it is…
When some of the most active members recognise your bitter comments towards Thai shows immediately, its telling that you do this a lot. It's also telling that you're replying to everyone but them. I've seen some of your comments myself.
I have plenty good to say about the show but I don't think anyone who's so prejudiced against Thai BLs is gonna look at anything I say objectively. Anyway, I do not want to argue with someone who's being bitter just for the heck of it so i hope you have a nice day.
Well, maybe this series is just not your cup of tea. Sorry to say, but I suggest you to drop this series, it is…
Then stop watching Thai BLs ffs. Find something you like, make good use of your time and don't spoil stuff for people who wanna enjoy it. Can't imagine how much time you must have to lurk on EVERY Thai BL page and be bitter on each one. And yes I do mean to sound rude and snide.
I would have empathised with him as well if it was just him being overwhelmed after knowing Day's feelings for…
Ohm plays him well. Classic case of hate the character but love the actor. He's really talented for his age and with as little experience as he has. Im excited to see more of him.
Ohm made August too expressive, I have to empathise with him a little bit. Also handsome. I'll be waiting for…
I would have empathised with him as well if it was just him being overwhelmed after knowing Day's feelings for him. It's very hard sometimes when someone has deep feelings for you which you can't reciprocate. But August took it too far with the pity care, pity birthday surprise and most of all a pity kiss ffs. That's a no from me.
I did tell my friends that we might get their first kiss this ep..I'm glad i was right. That last scene after the entire shit that went down was like a balm on a broken heart ππ
Please I've been waiting for William's OST since the trailer release π
