The scene with Qi Min and Bao in ep 20 broke my heart. Qi Min is the cruelest character I've seen in a WHILE. Just when I think he's about to show some kind of pity for the child, he doubles down even worse. Poor Bao just saying "Dad is a great hero" because he was taught that it'll save his life. Poor baby 😭🥺🥺💔💔💔

I personally enjoy it. No convoluted plotlines and breaks away from how you'd expect the story to stereotypically go. Then again, not all the episodes are out yet and I also have no idea what ur taste in drama is, so take my reccomendation with a grain of salt. 😊

Halfway through ep 12... why tf did he think she would be happy with the wedding celebration that used HER money? Like I get the sentiment, but it wasn't even his money LMAOO 😭😭 She's rightfully mad imo 😅

I love how this show didn't drag out ML hiding the whole memory recollection thing! Just avoided an unnecessary and typical plot point, yay 😆

The more I watch this show, the sadder it feels. There is an increasing feeling of helplessness from Pei Qian. With Tengda's success, he's gaining a name and legacy but is unable to feel happy with those around him. He isn't able to reap the benefits like they can. I hope something happens soon that will turn his depressive state into a happier one 🥺😭😭
