To be honest, if I really think about it, Sugarless is not that great. But there's something to this series that I really loved. I mean, aside from all the -cough- hot guys, there's really something and I can't quite put my finger on it. Therefore, I consider this great.
Oh my god, a live-action otome game? Hell freaking yes, this should be a thing. An otome vn should get an adaptation like this. It was so cute. All the boys were so adorable. Watching this left me happy. -contented sigh-
Oh my, I loved everything about this series. It's not perfect, there are some dull moments and try-hard jokes, but over-all this was a great watch. I'm now in love with Shotaro-sama. Kenji-san never ceased to amuse me with all of his facial expressions throughout the whole show. Everyone was great.
I can finally relate to anyone talking about the poor octopus. Watched it because I was curious about that scene in particular, continued watching because mindfuck.
For a movie adaptation, this was actually quite good. It wasn't disappointing unlike most other adaptations. Having Kentaro as Suna is especially a wonderful treat. ♥
H-Hiromitsu.. -sobs- This movie was tragic in it's own way. But I loved it sooooo much. Mirei is the perfect MC. How I wish that Hiromitsu would be her guy till the end, but from the start I already knew. I tried to brace myself, but all these feels.. Hiromitsu.. </3
I really love the Ikuta Toma and Oguri Shun duo. I'm gonna be honest, I initially just watched it because -cough- hot guys -cough- but I was pleasantly surprised of the really well-established plot and acting. Definitely binge-watch worthy. I'm pretty sure that's what some, if not most of us did.
Higashide Masahiro, you hot bastard. I didn't finish the manga, I watched the anime, and I liked this movie. Most shoujo adaptations are really bad and I was ready to be disappointed by this too, but I wasn't. For a live-action romance movie, this is actually quite good.
This is a really good adaptation. I was tentative to watch it at first because I absolutely loved the anime- but really, if you loved that, I don't see any reason why you won't like the live-action since they just follow the exact same story line. You can't expect all 11 episodes of the series to fit in the 2 hours 18 minutes duration of this movie. Just the effort to re-enact some moments from the anime is satisfying enough for me.
If I haven't read the manga, I would've dropped it already from the start. The movie tries too hard to create a 'mysterious past' atmosphere but it's not working because it's already boring at first and the 'reveal' doesn't really have that much of an impact. But I did read the manga and knew what was happening so I'd say that this is a pretty good, for a BL movie. I've seen better, and I've seen worse.
Definitely binge-watch worthy.
