Glad to know I am not the only one who is changing the script.

I have imagined that as soon as Tojo gets up, he will complain that he is still tired, can't walk and wanna sleep on this bench. Keishi will carry him in hir arms, drop him home, be his personal pillow, spend night and walk away before Tojo is awake and kiss him properly on forehead and say good bye. I want Tojo to remember something like this happened. I am trying to be super slow and soft as the drama is:)

Same feelings, I am disappointed with minimal growth of Tojo character.Here, I am consoling myself that lets cheer these men to finish line, they deserve each other and it's Japan and these are introvert.

I feel it's more related to being a introvert personality and being colleagues plays a major role. No deniel that people might heal from past relationship but scar is a reminder to be super cautious. Keishi looks are killer:) . I think in Japan this age difference is somewhere okay okay I feel!

I know, I am worried about this too. I just don't want him to understand things before Tojo understands and confirms his feelings !

Agreed. Off late I feel that the kiss being awkward js due to the fact that they are either idols of some bands so they wanna be popular as BL ofcourse gives lot of limelight at the same time don't want BL ships after the series is completed.

Office drinks/dinner Episode 7: Keishi came forward and was protected from that other Tanaka and said not to take pictures or make him uncomfortable. However, Tojo said it's okay/fine. He really like this due to his nature and can't even side with his defender/ supporter. Therefore, if work people get to know even something like this idiot tanaka noticed first name usage, Tojo is not someone who will take stand :(.

I just can't see Keishi getting hurt again or going into quick meaningless dating phase.

The falling sparrow plushie in Episode 7 symbolizes so accurately Tojo’s inner turmoil—his confusion, yet also the quiet reassurance that Keishi is still by his side, committed to their relationship.

I also love how perceptive Keishi is—the moment he walks in, he notices Tojo’s exhaustion and immediately shows concern. His instinct discussion to bring up the gathering topic proves just how deeply invested he is in his partner’s well-being.

Thank you. My observations are based on the wish list fact that Tojo seems to need someone who fits his ideal criteria, and at 40, he isn’t taking much initiative. I understand that their past relationships have shaped who they are today. Given that there are only 12 episodes, the pacing feels slow. I’ve always wished they’d show more of the "happily ever after"

I wanted him to ask Keishi for Lunch, dinner or coffee or doing something that would make him happy and show Tojo is interested because Keishi's question, what after the wish list completion they will be for each other.

A subtle episode, not much progress in terms of relationship but yes one more item in process .

I was happy seeing Tojo buying couple cups and bowls but my smile vanished when I noticed that at office he really can't say no. I felt he purchased them because Keishi asked for it. Though I am consoling myself that Tojo anyways wanted to buy couple pillow so he also felt the need to buy them.

It's fine to be confused but atleast speak or figure out if you really wanna be Keishi. Coming weeks anyways there is a possibility of getting caught at work, if you guys are confident what you are to each other, how will you defend your relationship status:(.

Keishi always fell for straight and too many short relationships. He can't push much as his man is apparently his boss, elder and king of introverts.

I really wish and hope that he celebrates birthday with his lover and they both are boyfriends.

Holding hands made me end the episode with a big smile, though one sided. I wish that Tojo gets up and continue tto hold his hand :)

I think in Cherry magic - one of the actor had no kiss rule contract. In this kiss will happen but do not expect a passionate or proper one!

I also think that twin sisters know their job/ people choices because they take time to talk to Tojo and help customers (they also checked Tojo's office suit and they know his taste? ) figure out things. Here, they just wanted keishi to select such loud clothes , I feel they did this on purpose to make them understand that how good they are for each other. because both sister sent pictures to him to ask for suggestions.

The way he shifts from grand, escapist goals (Northern Lights!) to mundane-but-meaningful ones perfectly mirror his pragmatic work persona—but I am little sceptical if he is really a problem-solver, in his personal life – Professional he is just amazing at his work. And you’re absolutely right: his assumption that Keishi was straight (and that their connection was purely transactional) makes the emotional whiplash so compelling.

But here’s what frustrates me: This is the same Tojo who tried a dating site, willing to do these things with a stranger – I agree that meeting never happened but he was trying to take all possible risk with a stranger? Also, In the first episode: That moment when Tojo admits (to himself) that this will end with the list and not completing them broke me a little! So, when someone who knows his limitations should actually grab an opportunity if they know & are able to trust this person because Keishi completes him.

It’s such a quiet tragedy—he’s savouring the experience because he thinks it’s finite, while because of this he fails to notice that Keishi is already all-in emotionally. I am not at all denying that Tojo is super introvert. He has not been a relationship for decade – these things should actually make him express more/communicate more. Because it’s always Keishi taking initiative.
The power imbalance (boss/subordinate, pragmatist/idealist) agreed adds so much tension but see for Keishi, he is kind of powerless at work, because Tojo is the boss, if this was a awkward relations – it would have made Keishi either loose the job or took so according me ( I am talking about If there is a bad relationships, people are quick to judge/gossip) – Keishi is risking everything here. Also, over the weeks also with all those nice things you can't trust Keishi. This makes me feel very bad for Keishi because he has to manage his own emotions and take care of Tojo comfort level and emotions. It's not an equal partnership to begin (I was cool with that) but over weeks also I feel there is still a lot of gaps.

Keishi—who’s been showing care and affection for weeks—gets treated like a checklist facilitator. At the ocean park, Tojo knew or sensed that Keishi would a kiss. And last episode, after the forehead kiss? Even if Tojo sees this as transactional, why couldn’t Tojo initiate for once? Tojo told his sister that he is kind of serious about this person so where’s is he showing this in action? You are with him but are you at least properly as a potential bf? ? Answer is No. It's Keishi who is keeping up with you, taking initiative, observing, caring and loving you. In one of the episode, he wished to try that new café with Keishi or have a lunch/dinner of his choice – I wish some action was taken here?

Here’s the more painful part: Keishi might hesitate because he’s terrified of being misunderstood. He’s smooth at work but fumbles with feelings, and the emotional labour he’s putting in (remember the sparrow ice cream? The secret-keeping of him being gay? The customized drink adding or suggesting cloth details etc is exhausting.

I’m torn between wanting angst and catharsis in the next episodes. Tojo’s practicality vs. Keishi’s hope is the core tension. Keishi has repeatedly proven he understands Tojo deeply—his sexuality, his tastes, his unspoken needs—yet Tojo still won’t show he’s truly invested. At this point, why should Keishi keep initiating unless Tojo steps up? A forehead kiss shouldn’t be the ceiling for emotional courage.

I really feel Tojo character technically hasn't grown well. I personally really don't feel that Keishi should put more effort here unless Tojo shows that he is interested to kiss his man as well? The kiss should technically not be a big deal for Tojo because that its in the list so for the sake of completing atleast you give a try? The reason why I need character growth because both really need to take a lot of time to even make this relationship public as they are gay. For these kind of relationship which are not totally accepted by all – both partners need to stay strong and have great level of confidence to defend what may come

This is such a heartfelt and beautifully detailed appreciation of Tojo! I admire your thought process.You’ve perfectly captured why he’s such a compelling and lovable character—his care, warmth, his growth, his quiet bravery, and the way he inspires those around him (especially Keishi).

I especially love how you highlighted his ability to "speak his feelings freely" - it’s such a refreshing trait in a character, at least this avoids all possible miscommunication which we see in couples. You’re so right that it’s probably one of the things Keishi admires and loves most about him. Keishi is highly misunderstood and someone who struggles with self-expression, must find Tojo’s openness both comforting, attractive & magnetic. And the way Keishi "mirrors" Keisuke’s teasing (like poking Tojo’s stomach) is such a subtle but brilliant detail, I too noticed that. Keishi is very good observer ( no one but he knows Tojo is gay ) —it also shows how much he’s been observing and learning from Tojo’s interactions with others. Keishi is so much in love with his man. As we see in their office suits as well.

Your point about Tojo’s "self-driven nature" and leadership is also spot-on. He doesn’t let ego or insecurity hold him back from uplifting his team, and that kind of humility is rare and admirable. And the way he 'challenges himself 'whether it’s trying beauty products, learning a new sport, or just pushing through his discomfort—makes his growth feel so authentic and rewarding to watch. At this point, I am not 💯 sure it's because he likes Keshi so he is pushing his limit or he is actually someone who genuinely want to explore. Sometimes we need someone to push us out of our comfort zones repeatedly until we realize we are much more capable.

By any chance are you also referring to " stand by my side after the rain" If yes, I totally agree that the kiss was awful. I needed more. The train station kiss was not needed if someone is just doing for the sake of it after all jealously talks!

Oh, absolutely! If a live-action series is targeting a broader or younger audience, dialing back mature content makes total sense. Since this is likely airing on TV Tokyo, I wouldn’t be surprised if even a kiss ends up being one of those stiff, "dead fish" moments—Japan isn’t exactly known for bold on-screen romance, haha. My expectations for passionate displays of affection in J-dramas are pretty low to begin with.

That said, you’re right—Thailand and Taiwan aren’t holding back at all lately when it comes to NC scenes! Not that I’m complaining (who am I to judge creative choices?), though personally, I’ve always been more of a soft, subtle romance fan. Give me pining and slow burns over steam any day!

Offcourse . Keishi was absolutely relentless this episode! 😂 The way he manhandled poor Tojo like it was nothing—head pats, tickles, and that excercise moment. Someone’s having way too much fun. I also admire Keishi the way he keeps appreacting Tojo efforts and asks him to do more.

Request for Next episode: Keishi just carries him around bridal-style at this rate.
