so if i skipped to the episodes with the second couple, would i be confused ? Or should i just force myself to…
Nope, you wouldn't be confused. But there are funny/nice character interactions between the side characters/ other leads through out HillTer eps, but you won't be missing anything. But there still will be HillTer sprinkled in through JohanNorth story line lmao
Someone pinch me right now. Is it true we're getting a JohanNorth special ep in March-April?? And is it also true we might be getting another MaxkyBas series and they're in talks???? I don't even care if New is the director. I'm willing to sacrifice that if it means I get to see these two on screen together again cuz I thought this would be the last time😭😭 Praying there is no cast change for S2, but considering my history with BL I shall hold my breath😭
This ep made me wanna bash Yotha over the head. MY GUY, WAKE UP!!!! THAT KISS?! THAT KISS! WHY MAN??? Like, I do get it. I really do. But we also didn't need it. We could have just said it in words, no proof needed.
As for everyone complaining about why on earth Yotha keeps thinking kissing Gun will solve all the problems... well, it just makes sense, no? Since the very start we've seen Yotha to be someone who is terrible at communicating his own emotions. (Dude breaks up couples for a living as a side quest cuz he feels betrayed. Like, come on.) He does what he knows. Which is ask Gun to tie is tie to be close to him. He kissed him the first time and Gun forgave him at the start of the ep, so he's doing it again at end. Do I agree with it, absolutely not, but Yotha has always been a complicated character, he was never the green flag we perceived or wanted him to be. I'm just glad he had Fai to smack some sense into him.
That being said, I need Gun to make him grovel more. If Gun explains what happens, then Yotha won't lie about it and explain. Cuz remember, Yotha doesn't know why Gun's mad, he just thinks he's mad cuz of the fight. Yotha has never lied to him before, and won't lie to him now if Gun asks him straight up. They just need a good communication session, which is happening next week thankfully.
And I will still stand by what I said before, every adult around Yotha is still shit. This entire downward spiral happened since his mum appeared. Newton isn't even worth mentioning, man is just terrible. And Wa. This guy... Wa here knew he what he did, and still decides to stick around Yotha. His reasoning might make sense to himself, but it's fucking stupid. I tried to give his character a chance, but damn, I cannot like this man for the life of me. Bro is just toxic to every one of his boyfriends.
Now to the people that said PerthSanta cannot act... what do yall have to say after this ep? They absolutely killed it!! When they broke down (Yotha in the bar and Gun in Fai's arms) I fucking lost it man. These are the kinda roles they need. The angst, the misery, the feels! I am willing to be heartbroken if it means they can show off their acting skills to their fullest!
Special mentions to Fai and Arm. I fell in love with Fai this ep, and now I'm more excited to watch his story. And Arm... this absolute crackhead. Please, never change. You are great just the way you are.
Can someone give me a summary of Tonfah and Typhoon's story? I'm intrigued by them. Like what's their deal, and what happened between them? I'm going to read theirs, but I became so fascinated by Arthit's character in this show that I'm gonna start reading his story first, so would love some Tonfah and Typhoon spoilers! And if someone could give me a rough chapter on when Arthit and Dao get together that would be great!
In the novel, Yotha was 15-16 and Warit was 20-21 when they dated.
Why is it that every time I hear the age of consent for a country, it's always lower than the next... Well, my previous statement still stands, Yotha is surrounded by shitty adults and I will not be excusing any of Warit's behaviour
In the novel, Yotha was 15-16 and Warit was 20-21 when they dated.
Umm... idk about anyone else, but that's sounding illegal to me... Really hope if they decide to mention it in the series they make Yotha 17 (which is still yikes) or at least 18😭
How much angst we getting before YothaGun become a couple? Does Yotha reject Gun or is it the other way around cuz they're still no sure of their feelings? And do they have any problems after they start dating?
See, that's my question exactly with Newton. What is up with this guy? And why even bringing it up so randomly?😭😭…
Exactly!! Like, your own brother suffered through something that clearly messed him, could have potentially been a minor, is in YOUR bar breaking up couples (which I can't even be that upset about to be fair, cuz dude is breaking up cheaters, BUT STILL, it's messed up to a degree), and they're just... not going to talk about it and intead make fun of it?? Just glad he has Gun now so he can open up and be himself, but the amount of shitty people around him is outstanding.
And honestly, Klao is either so in love he's blind, or he's just as toxic. Newton and Nop did say that's how Klao and Warit are, so I'm guessing they're the "always fighting but never leaving each other" couple. I'm just so interested in what Warit told Klao about Yotha that he's so angry. Cuz from everything we've seen so far, Yotha is still mad at Warit, but doesn't seem to give two shits about him, while Warit is always the one trying to be friendly with him and talking to him. Like... I don't think Yotha is the problem here, Klao, but maybe that's just me🤷♀️
Yotha and Fai are full brothers if I remember correctly. But because of their parents divorce, Fai ended up with their mum while Yotha got stuck with dad and Newton.
See, that's my question exactly with Newton. What is up with this guy? And why even bringing it up so randomly?😭😭…
Honestly, Yotha just needs good adults around him, cuz those three just aren't it. It's no wonder he turned out the way he is. Fai said Yotha grew up in a male household, that's why he's all cold and stuff, and initially I thought it was because of their dad, and while that still might be true, Newton might just be the biggest culprit. Dude is so sus. As for the age thing, I'm still trying to find out what the age difference between Yotha and Warit is. Cuz if Yotha was a minor, then I ain't excusing any of Warit's behaviour even if Boom is playing him😭
Someone in my earlier post said Yotha was in high school (which is still weird imo), but there was no grooming involved? So I'm hoping that's true.
Ooh Warit, my guy. Klao is not a Rebound. This bitch. Okay I'm going to need to know exactly what happened in…
See, that's my question exactly with Newton. What is up with this guy? And why even bringing it up so randomly?😭😭 Like, yeah, my little bro got traumatised by someone (cough cough *much older and is sitting right across from me* cough cough), he's the same as you Gun! That was so unnecessary to bring up. And the Klao/Warit relationship is so toxic lmao. They sorted their shit out, only for Klao to come shouting again at the end. If Warit doesn't like his partners "acting like a child" as Klao said, then why does he keep dating younger men? There is just so much to unpack here. I need this back story to come up asap! And agreed, PerthSanta have me kicking my feet every time they're on screen. This pairing is one of the best random decisions GMMTV has ever made.
About age difference, yes. Yotha was in high school but there was nothing like grooming or something. While that…
Dating a highschooler when one is older will always be weird to me, unless the couple were already together prior and one graduated early. But I mean, if they're of legal age, then its fine I guess. But dating someone younger, to break up with them, only to date someone else that is also younger? Idk, I guess I gotta learn about their back story before I start judging. As long as there was no grooming involved then it's fine.
Okay, I need to know how old Boom and Perth's characters were when they started dating. Cuz they said Yotha was like many years younger, and that has me weirded out. It's going into grooming/ emotionally exploiting someone much younger territory and I'm worried😭😭 Really wanna like Boom's character, but if that is the case then... yikes, can't do😔
Ep 9. Every couple gets 8 episodes each for their main story line. But there'll be snippets of all the storylines/…
Nah it's totally cool. Before ep 9 every PerthSanta interaction is them being a couple, so you're not missing any story beats. Ep 9 is where their story official starts. Happy watching!!
Not PerthSanta having me squealing and kicking my feet at 2am in the morning. Honestly just waiting for that one hero who finally writes the first YothaGun fic on AO3 cuz these eps aren't enough😭
