What a rollercoaster! It was almost a 10 but some things were just unnecesary. Loved the plot, the chemistry, the acting and the overdramatic directing. That absurd tone made a hard story easier to digest. Gonna miss this one.
Ep. 18 and I think I'll stop here. After the snoozefest of Shen Li, I can't deal with another story full of nothing. Sad because this one looked more interesting but it failed too. I feel cdramas lately are relaying only on big names but have no substance.

Exactly. I still have not finished SOKP because like you say it's too intense and I need something calm these days. I love the pace and the characters taking their time.
It was a good drama with the potential of being a gem. Great acting, direction, photo. Writing was good at character creation and realistic dialogue. Having two leads with that talent and chemistry is hard to find, yet production sometimes forgot who the leads were and insisted with a side story that never clicked with the main leads. 8.5/10
