Wth! She has no right to blame the youtuber. What was she doing when her son was depressed? She herself failed…
On the one hand, yes. On the other hand, she acted very cynically and tosic in her response to an attempt to seek help from a vulnerable person with whom she had built a parasocial relationship. And then she cyberbullying him with the help of her huge fan base as revenge for a harmless misunderstanding

I don't know, it's classic psychological J-Horror with philosophical themes.
Well, in any case, you know better what you personally like or don’t like and why. The main idea of this film is that people, for one reason or another, can be lonely even when among other people and that no human bond will last forever. Hence the feeling of melancholy, depression and despair. But remember some of the materials that I read, creator largely imply some specific moments of life in Japanese society. That is, although the idea does not seem complicated, to fully understand the film you still had to live in Japan at that time.

Maybe the themes of despair and pessimism voiced in the film are not included in your phobias in any way.

I wonder if they'll keep Majima's obsession with Kiryu like the remake of the game.Kiryu-chaaaaan 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I hope they don't make an adaptation from the middle of the game and doesn't add a boss helicopter like in the first adaptation.

Agreed! I can't believe this is tagged as a comedy movie on Netflix. It's a really good movie, but I started watching…
It really started out as a comedy film about a badass young cop, but then it devolved into a discussion about producing child snuff porn for the dark web. I don't even know what to say.

I fell in love with KWB
It is simply amazing that he can show such physical form after recovering from a serious illness. I wish him many years of good health!

I'm not sure if this was intentional, but it was one of the biggest mistakes with expectations of my life. From the outside, the film seemed to look much lighter and brighter due to the synopsis and poster.

Not scary at all. I get the point of the movie being not a typical gore jumpscare horror (as I expected it to…
It should not frighten you for goosebumps or something like that, but rather frighten you with an uncomfortable and disturbing atmosphere. Look at it as the opposite of Ju-on.

Could have been better.I was so bored. It was scary as I am alone but again I get scared watching all horror movies…
It is intentionally this way, because the goal of the film is to convey the painful melancholy of viscous loneliness.
On Ju-on: Beginning of the End Oct 6, 2024
It seems to me that the subtitles on the theme of the end and finale were unnecessary, since ignoring the fact of the reboot, it may seem that the franchise is simply ending with meaningless self-repetition and looping.

I don't know. On the contrary, this series seemed more creepy to me than ringing due to the lack of yurei cliches and cheesy science fiction.

Why satoru is died why! but in anime or manga he alive! So why this ending he die...? I love this story but i'm…
This surprised me very much. Because in the original manga and anime, his absence is understood to be his 15-year coma as a sign of altruistic self-sacrifice. But here they just throw it and its arc away, making his sacrifice that much harder. And yes, they also killed Nakonishi along the way, although the original Satoru was able to save everyone in the end.

I regret watching this. It wasted my time. I should have read the spoilers. -_- The first 1 hour 30 min. was great,…
The anime doesn't really CHANGE things much from the manga, just creating problems with character motivation by throwing away one arc near the end. But the film not only moves on, it doesn't even let Satoru save one of the anime and manga characters. Not to mention deleting the other one. And as a fun little thing, for some reason they made Kayo's son a girl. But no matter how ironic it is, despite this, they handle romance much better than anime.

It could have been a very subtle troll idea as a post-ironic parody of the J-Horror clichés of the era, but the plot was suddenly too complex and unintuitive to figure it out.

Title One Missed Call Spoiler
i didn't get the ending
In the end, it turns out that the ghost killer was an older girl who used her mother's phone to similarly hurt and "take care" of people. And since she was already an evil ghost, people died instead of being harmed and taken to the hospital. The main characters manage to turn off their mother's cell phone and calm her spirit, but because of this, the girl's ghost possesses the main girl and, seeing that the main guy survived the attack, accepts him as her new sibling.

Science fiction comes in different forms. Especially when you start with sea demons and vengeful ghosts and end with the Matrix and the apocalypse. It is not surprising that the last two books are criticized for moving away from the original concept, even in Japan itself.
