Title Dark Water Spoiler
Got 40 minutes in and couldn't bear it anymore -- had to drop it. Cheesy acting, boring plot and a sluggish start…
It's your typical punchline horror movie, so you have to watch it all to get the point. Plus, yes, the intrigue is quite simple and obvious, but that’s not what the ending is about.

Title Target Spoiler
It could have been a great classic techno-thriller, but the fact that the criminal was a complete stranger to her the whole time completely destroys any detective element in the film. Otherwise, a pretty solid thriller film with Hollywood-level production.

Why’d the boss turn into a degenerate creep also? Jeez
He was originally a very cringe dude. But the attempt to make us believe that he was the criminal was ridiculous.

8/10 for ss2 still a good watch after many yearsand better than many recently shows
This show is frankly intentional and genuinely silly, but I love the charisma and warmth of all the characters even if Kuwano can be really insufferable at times.
On Mada Kekkon Dekinai Otoko Sep 13, 2024
Am I correct in understanding that some of the subtlety of the ending allows them to somehow continue the show again in the future? It seems obvious that he will be with Madoka. But I'm afraid of repeating the retcon of the first season.
On Kubodera Akira Sep 12, 2024
Just yesterday I saw him for the first time in the series, and today I found out that he died a year later. I don't even know what to think. Rest in peace.
On He Who Can't Marry Sep 11, 2024
You can say that this series made me fall in love with doramas, since it was actually my first series of this type at all. Although I initially didn’t even intend to watch it, I simply came across it by chance while reading synopses of various Japanese series.

Title Ride On
I was expecting another melodrama and fan service with cute animals, but what I got was a touching Jackie Chan love letter to his career, stuntman profession and youth. The film also very much feels like a goodbye letter, but it doesn't look like Jackie is planning on retiring anytime soon. But who knows?

Title Shogun
It was already drying the last two episodes. I don't see a reason to watch any more.
I understand the references to statistics, but statistics are not a universal measure of creativity. It all depends on the specific IP and showrunners.

sorry, where to watch?
Ask on the Kitano fan subreddit, the film became available on physical media in April-May of this year.

New York is known for their racism towards Asians specifically...so many people were randomly hitting/punching…
Are you seriously trying to blame Trump for the fact that Asians are suffering from the left-liberal radicals of left-wing universities and discrimination in traditionally liberal cities like New York? I'm not trying to deny that he is partly to blame for this, but now even Biden and the Democrats have been promoting China's "blame" for COVID and indulging conspiracy theories about it. They only didn't care when Trump supported it, because everything Trump says is bad by default.

It is so shameful and embarrassing to have people who believe they are better than another race. It is 2024 and…
What's more frustrating to me is that in 2024, you can post the most rude and outright racist and even xenophobic comments and still pretend to be seen by others as liberal and progressive. And this is on a site that is dedicated to Asian films and TV series.

What "white standards" are you talking about? The Korean boyband does what Koreans demand/enjoy. Nobody in Korea…
Unfortunately, some people think that being born white means half the battle for a happy and successful life, and because of this they believe that all white people are cheaters and they do not need to achieve anything in life. The expected result of culture wars in the media and the Internet, unfortunately.

Funny to read the comments here where most are using whataboutism to invalidate the racism or discrimination suffered…
Unfortunately, such hypocrisy has long been the norm in Western fandom of Asian culture. For example, you can find many people who openly attack Japan and the Japanese as a nation in local culture wars about this or that element of anime or Japanese video games. And these people consider themselves fans of Japanese culture.

what's that?
Let me guess, the people who really want to see this so much, didn’t really come here for actual friendship?
